Since the Duerger can Enlarge themselves once per day, could they take levels of War Hulk (prereq. of "Must be Large or larger") which only come into effect when the character is Enlarged (and therefore meets the prereq.)? If you combined it with some levels of barbarian, you'd have a good Incredible Hulk homage!

By the rules, no.

However, seeing as this wouldn't be very useful for a PC (taking class levels that were only available to you once per day...), I'm assuming you're asking about this for an NPC... In which case, you should really feel free to do it.

Technically, I think so. Very much like the Hulk. "Don't make me angry..."

Could be a problem gaining levels IF you only get class features when you are "Large" and otherwise do not.

That's what happened to me on City of Heroes.

My She Hulkster character name (and image) got banned (note: not because of the similarity of her name to She Hulk, but to the similarity of her name to Hulk, go figure ).

Meeting the "24 inch pythons" entry requirement can be kinda tough, though.
