Younger D20 Players

I know about 8-10 players under the age of 25, including 4 under the age of 15.

Then again, I know well over a hundred above that age.

Take that statistic as you will.

None. We have only one player in our group who's under 30. The rest of us are 35 - 45.

For the purposes of this poll, young players is 25 and younger.

That right there says a lot about the aging gamer demographics. I'd count young players as 18 or younger. They would have in 1990.

At 27 I'm the old hat in my current gaming group. all the other players are ~25 or younger (our youngest player is 18).

Actually, I've easily gamed with over 21 people. More like just shy of 30, or somesuch.

Not bad, considering I've been playing for 7 years and am only 18

I know at least ten people younger than 25 who play D&D specifically, and probably just as many who've never played D&D but have played other roleplaying games.

I'm 25 myself; all of these people I know through my university gaming group or through my fiancee and her old DM.

I thought about putting it at 18, but since I am 19 I didn't want to make myself feel old .
