Your favorite Mini Companies

I tend to stick to Reaper, Citadel and Marauder (remember them?) miniatures myself. I tend to do a fair bit of conversion work and I find Citadels online store superb for ordering the bits I want, while Reaper and Marauder do brilliant character models, though Marauders can be tricky to track down on ebay they are often well worth it, especially the chaos dwarf wizard I just got.

Reaper (both Dark HEaven & Warlord) are good for D&D PC minis. I also like some of the older GW WH minis for my WH FRP game, but GW tends to be pricey for what you get. Their LOTR line isn't bad, though.

I really liked a lot of WOTCs old Chainmail line, you can still find a lot of them online if you look. Also, Kenzer's Hackmaster minis (also now OOP, or at least mothballed) has some fun models.

I'd say most of my minis are Reaper, followed by GW (LOTR & WH), then Chainmail.

I tend to buy Reaper, I-Kore, Rackham, and Privateer minis. Reaper is by far and away the best line for iconic D&D-style figures.

I have to second Bobitron on not buying anything from New Wave. They are great for window shopping, but that's it.

A couple of online retailers I order from on a regular basis are Discount Hobby - they have a 99 cent line that is not half-bad
Those aint no confrontation mini. but those deffinatley are pretty good for 99 cents. Those looke like they would be good to learn painting on too, just based on the fact that I wouldn't be paying $5 per mini.

Wow, you guys completely rock, It's taking me hours, and I'm STILL going through pages marking cool minis to order. :)
