Your favourite D20 publisher and why

I would have to go with Green Ronin

Green Ronin has some great books. Their Grimoirs I use a lot. They are consistantly in my book bag. I would have to say Malhavoc would be a very close 2nd place. The 2 books of Eldrich Might are always in my book back as well.

Because there tends to be a difference between Print books, and PDF, I would say my favorite pdf maker is stuff by Phil Reed. But, there are a lot of .pdf makers that fill in very niche positions, and I appreciate them all.

1) Privateer Press
They may not be prolific, but their books are the best layed out
and tightest I've seen.

2) Malhavoc Press
Outside of Pravteer Press Monte's company produces the
products that I use the most. They're rules tight (go figure)
and have topics that make you go, "Hey! I can use that!"

*taps his foot* And what about little ole S&SS/Scarred Lands Alaric? ;) *is teasing*

Hey I've got all the S&SS/Scarred Lands stuff and it's great. *Looks at empty wallet but's thanks the gaming gods for an employee discount* :D

But I can't believe that I didn't meantion Monte, sorry about that. I really do love the Malhavoc Press books.

Oh! There are sooo many publishers out there that I like!!

In no particular order:

Fantasy Flight Games--The"Path" series, and the other supplement books are the best I have found for my style of playing and DMming.

Kenzer & Co.--I think the detail of Kalamar is useful, the KoK PHB indespensible, and the modules provide the best bang for the buck that I have bought.

SSS--Love the Scarred Lands and the regional supplement settings, and the two R&R supplements are top-notch.

Green Ronin--I am pretty much guaranteed a great product when I purchase their wares.

Atlas--Some really interesting and challenging modules, and Occult Lore is a classic.

Good boy! ;) It's okay Alaric, I know how you feel. There's a lot of good stuff out there, just hard to figure out which to keep and which to use.

Malhavoc Press. I'll admit it. I'm a Monte Cook fanboy. While I've banned lots of things from the WoTC splatbooks, everything in the Eldritch Might books have been fine with me.

And I can't wait to sic Demon Gods Fane on 'em.

I'd have to chime in with Mongoose being tops for me.

The Slayer's Guides, Encyclopedia Arcane, Quintessential, and Traveler's Tales (ship's books) are fantastic. And their quick responses to questions about everything from gaming questions to when's my book going to hit the shelves puts them over the top.

Important second place goes to Sword and Sorcery Studios. I've used a lot of their stuff in my home campain.

GREAT WORK GUYS!!!!!

(keep it up) ;)

And the nominees are...

Sword and Sorcery Studio, for the excellent setting (on the par with Planescape) and great books for low prices.
And for the dark, grim world without angst, stupid cliches (well, make it too many cliches) or monolithic evil.

Malhavoc Press. For propagating d20 and putting out stuff worth your time. I am not a big fan of dungeons, but I still liked Banewarrens.

Bastion Press. Oathbound is a good, alien place to visit. It's larger than life, a bit too epic for my taste, yet its originality is very appealing.

Wizards. For creating SRD, Manual of the Planes and Epic Level Handbook.

Regards,
Ruemere

I like Paradigm Games

I'm getting a big kick out of Paradigm Games Codex Arcanis (A-).

As I have never been a big fan of "High Fantasy" games. I really like this game world. For me there is enough in common with Roman up to Midevil times to make following along quite easy. It really takes up where the Core books leave off. You don't get much added by way of additional rules, but get a vivid campaign world in tumoil. whether you want to side with good, evil or just play the middle of the road there is something for you to do. Now it doesn't go into specific details reguarding any particular area, which gives me the DM free reign. I don't have to wade through entire sections because I don't like an aspect of the gaming system. I have always been under the impression that man was mankinds biggest enemy. This game world really makes that statement hold true. If you like political intrigue and social opposition in a game then I definitely Suggest taking a look at this material.
