Is it your assertion that the radical physical transformation and the fear resistance happened totally independently of the kender? Where, exactly, did the inspiration for the pony-tailed, fear-resistant halflings come from, then?

Eberron. Two I've never played, but just don't appeal to me are Planescape and Spelljammer.

My current favorite isn't D&D, but old school: Hyboria.
The one down side?
There's not a single NPC in the entire Forgotten Realms that can steal a PC"s thunder like Conan himself, by Crom!

I'd have to say Midnight. I mean, it's only been out like 2 years and they're already doing a 2nd Edition! They're even beefing the book up, converting the player's supplement, and getting brand new art! I mean, FFG? I think it should be $$G!!!!

To the others that just had mixed feelings about SL: Hey I can relate. But overall I took the bad with the good. I'm hoping to turn that around.

In any case, least favorite setting? Probably Spelljammer...but then again after Scarred lands, it's kind of moot.

(And no Will, I don't hate Midnight. 2nd edition not withstanding.)
