Armies of the Abyss and Deities & Demigods are the two most recent I've picked up. Love AA, have mixed feelings about DDg. I'll try and do a review of both before the weekend.

Just picked up

Kingdoms of Kalamar, the Coin Trilogy by Kenzer, Players Guide to Kalamar, Spells & Spellcraft, Freeport HC, CoC, Spycraft, Seven Strongholds, and Green Ronin's Shamans book.

Gawd...I've been way to busy lately...

Deities and Demigods for me. That's about it. Although I'm looking forward to Privateer Press's Monsternomicon which should be out soon I think.

Deities and Demigods and Mongoose's Necromancer book. I like the Necromancer book but I returned DD. I preordered it last year and was disappointed in what was not included as well as usefulness for price. The art was hit and miss, Bast, Zeus and the battling dwarves were amazing, Bes, Ptah and Thoth were horrible, Thoth looks like he was molting. Corellon and Frey look like gangly dweebs, If I was Gruumsh I would have attacked Corellon on principle as well. Freya looked like she was a headliner for Lillith fair instead of the lusty beauty witch of Norse mythology. Even though they cut down on the pantheons, the ones they included were not complete, and there was only one prestige class (berserker). While the crunchy god rules were kind of fun, I just did not really need them. I have better background descriptions of all of the gods in my 1e and 2e materials.

I also got review copies of Hackmaster B1 intro adventure and the Kalamar four adventure Harvest of Darkness. My review of B1 is posted in this forum and I like the cruchy bits of Harvest although I have not finished reading the adventures.

Latest issue of Dragon (295): Very impressed and definately looking at the Stronghold Builder's Guide.

Secrets and Socities (S&SS), trying to start completing my collection before the Ghelspad HC reaches my door.

Spells and Spellcraft (FFG), nice and pretty well thought out. Still not terrible impressed by it, but certainly not disappointed.

I have recently purchased:

The Quintessential Fighter- I like this one, but not as much as the Q Rogue. Still, the fighting styles are finda cool, as are alot of the new equipment and rules. I just dont like any of the PrCs.

Chaos Magic: Wild Sorcery- Yea, another core class, and its rather cool. A very flavorful book, but I cant see anyone but an expert gamer not being intimidated by it.

Geanavue: Stones of Peace- I have already ranted, raved and danced about this one on this site. Its my favorite gaming book put out in about 10 years.

The rest werent D20 at all: I just bought the Wraith Players Guide, The Wraith ST screen w/ Buried Sectrets book, Vampires Archons and Templars Book, and Hunter: First Contact. But Im a big WW fan, so I liked them the second I bought 'em. :D

back issues of dragon
100 dollars worth of minis- and i love them
