Your travel plans 2014

Just out of interest, where do you expect to spend your big holiday this year or otherwise travel to (and how far is it from where you live?)

Or are you still looking and need some suggestions?

The US, I guess. Gen Con. So, what, 3-4000 miles at a guess?

I hesitate between Molvania or San Sombrero.

All being well, Belfast for our anniversary in April, Barcelona in Summer, and then Belgium in September with the band.

I will be surprised if all of these go ahead as planned, though.

I don't travel, if I don´t have to.

Probably a weekend hiking in Luxembourg in the spring and a week hiking in the Pyrennees in the autumn. My wife and I haven't made any arrangements for our main holiday yet, but we're thinking of spending a few weeks driving round the south of Spain. After last year (a week in Las Vegas, half a week in Luxembourg, a fortnight in Curacao and Colombia, several trips to Scotland, and a fortnight in the Caribbean and Miami) we'll take it a bit easier this time round.

No plans yet for this year although it looks like work will be sending some people to Cisco Live ... in San Francisco. I may find it imperative that I go to see what Cisco has to offer.

A couple of weekend trips to the beach over the spring and summer, (~2 hours drive/100 miles). Then in September a week's stay at Walt Disney World, (~10-12 hours drive/650 miles). We usually go to a Great Wolf Lodge for a weekend in March, (~2 hours drive), but this year we're skipping it for a better resort choice in WDW.

I'm going on my honeymoon to Barcelona start of June. Yay! Haven't been abroad since 2008. I can't wait!

Two weeks in Saignon, France. It's a ~750 miles drive. Probably the last summer holidays with the whole family, as our daughter is growing up and wants to spread her wings.
