Ok, here's the second (and probably last) in my series of YouTube videos of my gaming.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XQIrsl4PYc

This is a clip from my ongoing "Ulek" campaign, where the 15th level PCs are questing for the "Staff of Ehlonna", a relic that will help them free their homeland from the evil Fhoi Myore.

This clip shows the PCs entering the Sunset Forest, and meeting a Satyr.

In the clip you can see me (as DM) and Sarah (as Lavena, Herald of the Court). Invisible but audible are Greg (as Abigail), Nathaniel (as Sir Willem) and Adam (as Ragnagor).

Cheers!

Delightful! Don't let this be your last. Though, I do agree a technological upgrade is in order.

Excellent, Merric! You should pop over to CF! to post these links too :D

Now I'll know what you look/sound like (though less fuzzy of course, IRL) when/if we bump into each other at GenCon/Lake Geneva Gaming Con/etc.

teh aw3s0m3. Merric, your next step is to get the whole group into the shot. :)

Questions:

1. Do you normally run without a DM screen?

2. Does your group get self-conscious or anything when you do these recordings?

Depends how I feel. A lot of the time I use a screen (I was in the first video, you just couldn't see it!)

For the second video, I was mainly improvising the session, so there weren't many notes to hide and the like. :)

They didn't during those two. I just left the digital camera going on a pile of books, and I think they mostly forgot about them. Afterwards... I'm not sure. :)

Cheers!

Well, sort of. :) You possibly should get a better idea of what I look like from my avatar...

I rather hope I'll get over to the States one of these days. One of my newer friends - Mike Rowlatt - pops over fairly regularly, and got to play boardgames with Gary Gygax and Tom Wham a couple of years ago. I'm envious!

Cheers!

Tee hee! You Canadians sure talk funny. ;)

LOL. :)

Randy's the Canadian amongst us - although he doesn't play RPGs with me. (I play a lot of boardgames with Randy).

Cheers!
