Jorge takes a last look at the shattered tile from his full standing position. No trace of the glow remains visible to him now on the spiderweb shaped series of breaks. He finishes dressing his wound with a finger cot to keep the bandage in place on the difficult location. Then, he leaves and to find the Padre still sitting on the edge of the bed. While warning the Padre of the tile, Jorge catches a glimpse of flickering orange light through the drawn curtains.

ooc: argh, going to have to finish later today or tonight. never enough time...

Naturally Jorge' is usually attracted to the sight of the flickering light. He is young and he is impetuous. Not to mention that every thing seems to be "not quite right" so far.
He finishes talking to the padre and then peaks out the window to see what is going on, Mentally hoping it is not a fire.

Joe recalls Roman pointing out the station on more than one occasion when out on a call. He even claimed to see the quasi-famous DJ Billy Saturn outside one time taking a smoke break. Roman seemed semi conscious and able to stagger a little bit. He managed to make it into the passenger seat with some assistance from Joe. Several minutes into the trip, Roman still seemed lethargic and confused, but improving. The ride itself was a strange one. Several times, Joe saw more lines. They cut through everything. Even stranger, things on one side of the line didn't always match up with things on the other side. He passed an area where a cut had split into two cuts, which were reconnected several yards later by a third cut, leaving a narrow triangle of land in between. Suburb was on either side of the triangle, but he would swear there was nothing but desert scrub inside it.

Bag in hand, Billy stepped out the door of his former place of employment, maybe for the last time. People still lay where they fell, most moving slightly as their minds and bodies tried to recover from whatever had happened. Some didn't move at all. In the distance, Billy could see multiple pillars of black smoke and licks of flame. No vehicles moved on the street.

Dr. Billy Saturn

Billy makes his way to his truck, avoiding stepping on victims and suchlike along the way. He climbs behind the wheel, key in hand, and slips the key into the ignition. "Come on now, please don't fail me now!" And with that, he cranks the engine of the truck.
