Zmatrix any bumped into this

Ok this morning I turn on my computer at work and it auto installs some program called the Zmatrix. It seems to be some harmless screensaver that also plays with your background. But since I never actively downloaded it, and it auto installed I'm curious if it has some annoying hidden features.

Anyone bumped into this thing yet?

have never heard of this auto installing on somebodies pc. Since you can get it over at source forge, it doubt that someone has set it to do a drive by install.

It sounds to me like someone put it on your computer, but doesn't want to own up to it.

You would be surprised how many times people try to auto-install programs without your knowledge.
I use a program called "Ad-aware 6.0". You might try it, you might be surprised.

I do that all day long. This is not one of the programs that autoload. Plus Ad-aware leaves plenty of spyware undiscovered even if you update it fully. Spybot is what you want.

And as I said before, it's a piece of software thats out on source forge. That means that there is a comunity of programers supporting it and building it. Spyware is built with the idea that you will never know who made it unless you find anti spyware news about it.
