NP sappire07 I hope to have the IC up next SUN, least that's what I'm shooting for.

Remeber this is going to be a slow posted game as I have quite a few going and need to make some on the once a week side. And this one with it's 2e rules I haven't used in a long while is perfect for that.

Will be alot of things coming up soon about the game so everyone be on the look out. But for a heads up...

a) experience, will not be using xp at all will explain later.
b) Raistlin's cough do we wish this to be game ruled or just used as RP fluff?
c) Tas pouches - please don't look in them yet soon as I get the rules and twik them a bit. You will have stuff like tinderbox/candles etc. but extras not yet
d) combat - big one of course
e) will post Goldmoon and Caramon in the RG replacing whoever the first two characters are. And Tika, Laurana, Gilthanas, and Elistan will take the other four spots hmmm.. perfect fit.
f) I am re-reading the first book, so will be using it to "fluff up" the module.

All right gang will explain all the above over the next week.

I've been thinking of rereading Chronicles too for the whole method acting angle, or NOT reading it to prevent meta-gaming. Still not sure what the best approach would be. :p

Oh I would defenitly read it for some insight into your character I have just got to the part that expalins why Sturm is so willing to follow Tanis.

Life was a dark shroud to the Solamnic Knight. He could not petend to ever know or understand it except through the code of the knights he lived by. "Est Sularus oth Mithas" - "My honor is life." The code defined honor and was more complete and detailed and stricit than any known on Kyrnn. The code had held true for seven hundred years, but Sturm's secert fear was that, someday, in the final battle, the code would have no answers. He knew that if that day came, Tanis would be at his side. holding the crumbling world together. For while Sturm followed the code, Tanis lived it.

It is stuff like that and the relation between Caramon and Raistlin (which makes me think Caramon should always be a heirling, the way Raistlin treats him), which is good for getting into charatcer.

Don't worry about by the book the modules are alot off, in that regard. It's possible not to meet Goldmoon and Riverwind in the inn. And to spend like a week in Solace before ever needing to head out on this adventure.

Although stuff like that while o.k. on the table top maybe to slow for a slow paced game. But I am working on it. Also things like facing Onyx in the sucken city is not nessacary if you can draw her out then you could possibly fight her somewhere else.

Ok I have started a IC here:

http://www.enworld.org/forum/playing-game/290550-dragons-autumn-twilight.html

Second post has sometings everyone should read and comment on here please. And I still need sappire07 to quote Rasitlin in the RG http://www.enworld.org/forum/playing-game/290550-dragons-autumn-twilight.html

so I can replace him with Goldmoon. I have added Caramon.

Don't worry about the double post SVZ I'm sure you will be getting a second charater (as well as everyone else) once we hit DL2. Just have to put him there.

I am adding links to my signature and the first post of each thread so you can find info easier. I say we are good to start.

Hey ghostcat hate to say that I don't see Riverwind getting into this for about the next month. As this is pbp and I wish to keep it on the slow side.

Right now I am wading through combat 2e style I think when I ran this stuff years ago we had our own system because I don't quite remember some of this. LOL

I do remember it was around the time we started playing Rolemaster and MERPS, and we added their crit rules. Very deadly that is. Tasselhoff crit'ed a shadow dragon and then rolled a 99 for the "effect" which was pretty much death.

So picture if you can Tasslehoff leaping off a cliff to impale Rabbitslayer in the dragon's neck and then riding down that same neck opening it up along the way.

Ahhh memories is why I love D&D. :D

First Post
HM. OK on Riverwind not getting there for a month. Can you PM me when he arrives as I don't tend to read IC threads for games I'm in when my character isn't there.

Ok as combat has started I need a list of Raistlins spells for the day posted when you post his actions for the day.

Also I have been thinking of not using the rules for moon magic as it will not come into play very often. What I would like to do to represent the power Raistlin recieved when his health weas shattered and his skin chenged is make him an "overall specialist".

I would like for him to have the specialist benefits but no penalties, and in place he will have the following drawback.

Raistlin is only at his best health when he is "full" of magic. When he has casted over half of his spell levels in spells for the day he starts to suffer physically.

* -1 to hit and damage
* cannot run or swim or any other activity that causes exertion
* Str is considered 5 for opening doors and bend bars etc. Though he can still carry the same weight
* diblutatling cough (at 0 spell lvls) cough is so bad he cannot do anything but cough and move at 1/2 speed

The above drawbacks can be surrpressed for two hours by drinking an herbal tea special for his condition.

I think when Raistlin was a black robe he was "healthier" because he had more magic lvls and didn't go below half as much.

Note on magic levels:
As it is now Raistlin can cast two first and one second level spell. That is a total of 4 spell levels. 1 + 1 + 2
So when he has casted his second level spell and then one of th efirst he would be below half, and suffer the drawbacks above.

If he becomes what I am calling an overall specialist, he will recieve the following:

* May cast one more spell per spell level, i.e. three first and two second as a 3rd lvl magic user.
* +1 to saves vs all spells, and -1 to anyone making a save vs a spell Raistlin casts.
* +15% to learn a new spell
* auotmatically learns one new spell at each level

Let me know what you think.
