I'm coming along nicely on the encounter list for my revamped submission for some of the upper levels currently at loose ends. I should be able to submit the proposal to perrinmiller in the coming week if all goes well (I'm slow, I know, but I'm old :p).

I want to put the final party together asap, so I'll be able to tweak things a bit. Right now, I have [MENTION=6666968]Satin Knights[/MENTION]' Arianna, [MENTION=40413]GlassEye[/MENTION]'s Elenka, [MENTION=86876]Iron Wolf[/MENTION]'s Fulgrim, and [MENTION=49929]Scott DeWar[/MENTION]'s Heinrich. Is this all correct - are you all still interested and 'claiming' these spots?

I had a spot reserved for [MENTION=50177]Artur Hawkwing[/MENTION]'s Audra, but I've noted that you're retiring Audra. Will you be making a replacement character at that level, and if so are you interested in getting him/her in this adventure?

And finally, [MENTION=6667193]sunshadow21[/MENTION], do you want to level Quillon up and send him along as well? That would make an APL 7 party, with two of the group set to level up to 7 very early on.

Just as a note, 'Greener is the Grass' is very close to the end (we could wrap in just a couple of days). That will release Systole's Sylla/Boots, Jbear's Maui/Taniwha, and Scott DeWar's Vincenzo back into the inn. Sylla is level 6, Maui & Vincenzo level 5 but very close to 6. I don't know if there is space for either of those characters in the adventure (Scott, obviously, couldn't take two). Three summoners would be a bit much but lately I have been thinking that since I have had three characters in play pretty much constantly I could let the first one to free up (most likely Elenka) sit idle in the inn for a bit while I throw together something for the low levels in the inn who don't have characters in any games.

I can take six characters of level 6/7. Any combination of races/types/classes should be fine, except that I honestly don't like Summoners. However, I understand that some do and I'm very much willing to have one in the adventure (or in any adventure I run) - three would be way more than I'd want. (Lest anyone worry, SK can reassure them that I don't allow my dislike to bias me against Summoners in actual play).

I'd just like to get the party settled so I can communicate a few things to the players before I finalize everything in the adventure, and ask them a few questions.

Thanks for having me in mind. Audra is kind of in a weird spot with everything that was geared toward making her work hard with her brother and to have Qik get kidnapped by RL sort of has her in a spot where I would rather not continue on with her. I had previously made the other character at level 1 with the idea of retiring one of the other two at the end of their story arc, whichever happened first. Since Audra has a logical reason to disappear retiring her makes the most sense. As for Riccaul, well, if someone wants to pick him up and level him up I'm good with that. I was attempting to write up something based on established history that no one had approached, but it seems Necromancers are even more taboo than I had anticipated. So if someone wants to go through the routine of retooling him to a different focus and using him I'm good with that. I'm just going to stick with Marcus for now and see how I feel at the end of his arc as to what I do from there.

jackslate45 has asked to take Audra's place with his Anaerion, which is excellent. However, Anaerion is already level 8, so with him aboard I'd like to limit the party size to 5.

So as of right now, I have Arianna, Anaerion and Heinrich all confirmed. Haven't heard back from Iron Wolf about Fulgrim, nor sunshadow21 about Quillon.

I don't think I realized I'd already OK'd two Summoners - that's fine with me if you both want to come. I hope I didn't offend with my earlier remarks about the class . . . SK does a great job with Kalgor/Gragnor, but I haven't seen him run Arianna nor GlassEye run Elenka other than in the DWI. My dislike isn't based on the idea of the class - which is actually really cool - but the wonky (to me) mechanics.

You can consider Elenka an alternate and I'll play her if you don't get a full group. If there are enough others interested or if Sylla joins I'll have her idle in the DWI while I work on other projects. As for summoner comments, no problem.

I think rather than leveling Quillian now that Ausk is officially free, I'll probably fine tune Elliman and retire Ausk. He'll still be able to provide a decent amount of healing, and it will end up being easier on the bookkeeping end of things. I'm not sure off the top of my head if Elliman will start as 7th or if Ausk was able to reach 8th or not, but either way, he shouldn't throw off your power curve too much.

Do we have a decent count on active characters 3rd level and above that are left out of adventures?

With things moving slow in Forge of Fury and Tie that Binds now completed, I can keep the extras occupied for the short term at least. I just need to know who is left over.
