The smaller the franchise, the lower the bar.

For major franchises, it’s hard to argue against the MCU. Almost 30 films and I think only two are not rated fresh. Billions in sales.

For smaller franchises, The Expanse novels are all great and so is each season of the series.

What We Do in the Shadows has two great series and an excellent film.

In terms of film franchises, the V/H/S franchise is up there. I think every entry has been good so far, assuming you enjoy the horror anthology format.

It's worth thinking about the Dollars Trilogy. Although my understanding is that it wasn't meant to be a trilogy, so I'm not sure if it counts. Maybe it's just three movies that happen to be good.

The Toy Story series isn't my personal favorite, but I expect it would be high on many lists.

The Attack of the Killer Tomatoes movies are an interesting case to consider. It's not safe to assume any are "good". But if you like one, you probably like all of them. See also: Naked Gun.

As for video games, Mario has to be very high on the list of games that are good with very high consistency.

I love the Alien franchise, but its batting average is not great. What geek franchise has the best track record overall (independent of how high the highs are or how low the lows are)?
I'll agree the 3rd one wasn't as good as the first two, but I still think all 3 alien movies ever made are good. I'm just glad they stopped instead of doing silly stuff like resurrecting Ripley or having space plot goo.
