Is it “late” if no due date was ever actually promised?

That's one of those... "Well, technically..." type arguments.

They originally said that the playestests would be monthly, but they found that they couldn't pull that off, so they said that they'd make them bimonthly (every other month) but seem to be having trouble doing that!

I mean, yeah - they have been very careful the whole time to never quote an actual day or time. But that doesn't make it not late. It's late.

I'm not saying that we can't be patient and understanding about it! We can do that.

That was the intent, yeah. I was just having a bit of fun, but I don’t actually think it’s wrong to say it’s late (unless it does show up today. It could still happen, though looks pretty unlikely at this point.)

Oh yeah, I didn't think anyone was being too serious about it. I know we all want to read it, but it's hardly the end of the world.

It was probably that too (most decisions have multiple reasons behind them) but they really were (and still are) having trouble sticking to a schedule.

It's possible, but unlikely. I think we'll see the videos the day (or a few days) before - so we can't expect it until after a video drops, which hasn't happened yet. Monday? I can keep hoping. Heck, I hope I'm wrong and we'll see it tomorrow after all!

The sad part, for at least some humans, of not having it for the long weekend, is that the design team is going to be working through the long weekend.

Or maybe they aren’t, and that’s part of the reason for the delay. One can hope, anyway.
