Dumb luck thing. When you were born.

In 90s you could get kicked out of school, do a season at local freezing works get deposit on a house.

In one year.

Now it's bank of mum and dad.

Sisters house was 3 years income, ours was 5, now its 10+. No mortgage no rent no help from family.

If you were gifted say a million dollars back then and weren't an idiot you would probably be worth around ten million now.

And that's without two parents telling you what to do and helping you out.
Duplexes that sold in my area for $25K, in 1972, are now going for $650,000+.

Is there something wrong with that? I've never played those games either, for the same reason.

He's not ok with shooting pretend police (did he also not enjoy The Matrix?), but the implication is that he's fine with the OTHER stuff you do in the GTA series of games. Those games are full of (again, make-believe) anti-social behavior and crime, but he draws the line only here, in the fifth installment?

I was just reading this Forbes article and it is saying that 4 of the last 5 Disney 'flops' (not including The Marvels data) were filmed in the UK since they can get up to 25% reimbursement if they set up as a separate company to film. There is also other places like Italy with the same thing and a tax deduction in the USA for all marketing. Seem the real bottom line would be different if countries and places stayed out.

I know there are filming incentives in my state and all the periphery things like hotel, food, rentals, catering and construction boosts the local economy. Not sure how much is offset with the lower taxes and stuff to get them here though. Likely somewhat like the car companies moving from Detroit to South Carolina or Alabama to get cheaper labor costs. The increase to the economy in the long run is worth building a new highway and no taxes for 5-10 years.

Whatever it is, it's enough to have companies move production. Shoot pilot in California or Washington (sometimes getting the State film incentive funding). After that move actual production to Vancouver.

So, I don't like the man, but... you are just entirely wrong here.

If someone gives one reason why they avoid a thing, it is fair to take that as a major example. It is NOT fair to take it as an implication that the stated thing is the only item of issue, unless they explicitly say so.

Tweets should not ever be taken to deliver the entirety of any position.

I have no idea what he is and isn't okay with in a videogame. And even if he's okay with some levels of criminal activity in games but stops short of shooting police officers, what of it? A lot of games draw the line there.

In the Dishonored games, for instance, you are a criminal committing crimes ranging from burglary to treason, but you get the "good" ending for stopping short of murder.

Although my players do not seem to have problems in D&D killing local guards and such, but generally only if they are asked to come with them and give up their weapons or swords drawn on them first. I should send children and grandma with a walker at them and see how evil my players really are.
