The VOIDRUNNER'S CODEX is coming! Explore new worlds, fight oppressive empires, fend off fearsome aliens, and wield deadly psionics with this comprehensive boxed set expansion for 5E and A5E!
WotC has always been very protective of the D&D name, and Hasbro's lawsuit is having another effect: giving more ammo to Turbine's lawsuit against Atari. One of the allegations against Atari is that they contracted to promote and distribute DDO in Europe, while concealing the fact that they were...
Since money isn't an issue in most of our campaigns (characters become comfortably well-off, if not downright stinkin' rich, rather quickly for some reason), our GM is keeping the 3.5 experience cost of creating items. However, that cost can be paid by the character requesting the item instead...
I happily canceled my order from Amazon & bought locally (well, sorta; after searching the area, finally found one across the metropolis). It was worth the effort. Having this monster in my hands is so much more satisfying than reading a PDF.
Love the Sorcerer's Bloodlines! I've always been into the artillary, so my characters are mostly sorc/warmage types.
But I'm thinking that a cleric or pally might be fun to try now....
Ordered from Amazon, eta 8/21, blah blah blah....if my LFGS had any, I would've bought another copy from them!

I also have characters scattered...
DDO has taken control!

Our parties have always used Dispel Magic, rather than Counterspell (that Reaving Dispel from CA is fun!). But my Bard recently aquired a ring of counterspell vs. Silence that might be very handy. (taken from the body of an evil cleric that cast Silence on our party)
Although LB does have advantages in some situations, I'll choose FB just 'cos it's so......BIG! There's nothing quite like a sorcerer lobbing a fireball every round....oops, sorry about that, Mr. Front-Line Fighter....I'm sure the Cleric can do something about that....
There is a class ability in one of the splat books call Kip-Up. I think it's in one of the psuedo martial arts PCs. Lets you stand up from prone as a free action. Not sure if it references AoO's because standing up did not provoke one in 3.0, but I would house rule that it does not provoke...
