I think this is a response to the Book or Erotic Fantasy. I remember someone at WotC saying they weren't happy with it damaging the reputation of the d20 movement, but they couldn't do anything about it. So they changed the rules, and now they can do something about it.

I'm using Mozilla Firebird ATM, and also found that I was being logged out constantly. One trick that works is to bookmark the page after you have logged in, and use that bookmark. I have no idea why this should make a difference, but it has worked for me.

I agree with Lord Pendragon, she should be treated as incapacitated until either the staue is broken or stone-to-fleshed. Doubtles someone on Carceri will notice in a few days and then Dispell Magic on her. Or maybe the Oinoloth will send someone to look for her.

I think thats a great idea. But familiars get more powerful with level, so I'd also make the ability go up with sorc level. This would also help with the problem of peopl just taking one level to get the benifits. E.g. Fire: +1/sorc level to damage on fire spells Water: +1 vs fire spells, +2...
