How about permanent Wisdom damage, that would create nervous characters that live in their own small world after being exposed to long torture and monks etc could endure it better :)

I wish I had MotW, but I dont... no player is playing any of the classes right now so it will probably be a while til someone buys the book :) But since there have been alot of herbal guides to ad&d there HAS to be one for 3E as well...... :eek:

I wish I had the time :) It would be easier to just convert the old herbal netbooks to 3E than make new herbs from scratch, although im sure SOMEONE must have done it already....anyone!?

I checked it, but one of them I found was ad&d and the other was said to be converted to 3E, but it didnt seem that way, no DC on saves etc... and "paralysis" saves and stuff that used to be in ad&d if I remember correctly ;)

I was wondering how you handle the herbalist skill in your campaigns, if they are out travelling and they search say 2 hours each day for herbs, whats the probability that they actually find anything, DC etc.. Do anyone know of any Netbook of Herbs or a listing of herbs for 3E, it seems the...

Well, one should not look just at the best combination of rules, but what suits the character :) If a wizards was a better class than the sorcerer I could just as well play the sorcerer if it fits the theme of the character im developing ;) It's all about the fun

Sounds very nice, they do need a focus I agree, it can be alot of fun for the player to work out these cosmetic changes on his character too :)

Cool idea regarding the barbarians, but that have to fit the campaign ofcourse :) I pondered the other day with a friend about the sorcerer class, if they use internal magic they really should have some cosmetic changes when they reach higher levels because their "inner power is increasing" so...

The bard really is the class that no one ever plays ;) But since I made the namechange as you can read in my thread, people started becoming alot more interested. The bard is a good class because it combines alot of abilities, they arent masters in a specific areas :) I think the rules for them...

Recently I was looking through the classes in the PHB and I discovered that the class that no one EVER plays in my campaigns (or in any ive been playing in myself) is the Bard class. Much because it can seem a bit silly at higher levels to be a master musician that hurls magic around him...

No, but sfbok.se :) So "tradition" distributes Dungeon Mag as well? Have they gotten any better than the old Hack N Slash adventures that used to be in them some years back?
