I have GMed the Omni system and I can say that the basic rules are fairly light and very easy to use. And if you know D&D then it will feel similar. (The Talislanta 4th edition was lighter on rules but also lacks some of the crunch of Omni).
As I haven't played the Atlantis version I'm not sure...
One thing that I have learned while running an Age of Worms True20 game is that Wisdom for a spellcasting attribute is kinda wrong. It adds to both the DC of spells and it gives a bonus to the spell fatigue checks. If I could change things I would limit spellcasters to picking either...
I really do like these ideas!
I like the changes (including the new look too).
As a side note I never liked the whole "Strength for Defense" schtick anyways (if going that route I like the Block mechanic from M&M).
Another round of questions, if you don't mind?
Is the only way to go...
I really like what you have so far! :)
I have a few questions with regards to how non-leathal and lethal damage work together:
When a character is brought to 0 or fewer Wound Points and thus have 0 "Stun Points" they are Disabled but they are also Unconcious?
Might I also suggest a rewording...
Okay, so here is what I can think of off of the top of my head:
Dungeon issues #
118 Box of Flumph - a little silly, but not much combat
121 The Styes - good bit of exploring with a slant towards investigation in a neat urban setting
128 Shut In - stuck in a house with creepy old lady and her...
It really depends upon what you wish to get out of the HP type system. But this is what I tried for a short while and it seemed to work okay (I do prefer the RAW though):
Each Role gets a large number of HP at 1st level and then a bonus equal to the Role's Combat Bonus at each additional level...
