Dont have the magazine, but one question. Are they living contructs? If so conjuration healing works but only heals half.

If your going to covert to 4E, then don't buy it. If your probably going to stick with 3.5 like me, then you will buy it!

Im not familiar with Arcanis, but Scarred Lands is loaded with flavor. It may not be supported anymore, but that doesn't matter since your not using d20 rules and you can find all the books online for dirt cheap. There is plenty of material to keep you going for years.

The shadow creature template was also reprinted in Lords of Madness. Shadow Blend now has total concealment (50% miss chance), plus it has a couple other nice abilities.

The Warlock needs to Combat Cast (cast defensively). As long as the Warlock makes the concentration check, then he doesn't provoke an AoO.

Where did you come to this conclusion? There is nothing in the feat description that says this!

There are several new invocations out there in Dragon Magic and Compete mage that address several issues. Penetrating Blast (Dragon Magic) gives a +4 on CL checks made to penetrate a targets SR. Target must then make a will save or have its SR reduced by 5 for 1 min. Deteriorating Blast...

Otherwise check out Astetic Mage or whatever the class is out of Comp Adventurer. It might allow Warlock and monk levels to stack for determining monk abilities
