That is very cool. I have kicked around the idea of doing a one shot dragon hunt adventure. If I every do I will have to steal this idea to help make the final battle climactic.

The majority of my 20+ years of being a GM has been with 2 players. I usually add a NPC ally to assist them. My current group has 3 players so I do not have to worry so much about adding an NPC ally, which I am glad. Decado

Conan is probably the setting/system I am going to run when I finish my D20 Modern campaign. Vincent's material has been top notch IMO and when it comes time to round out my Conan RPG book collection, Vincent's books are on the top of my list to buy. Decado

Animation was not as good as I had hoped but I will still watch it. I have been a big DL fan since I was a kid. I have not watched alot of anime but Record of Lodoss War is one of my favorites. I need to get it on dvd, now that I no longer have a vhs player.

I think the possibility of a character being killed adds alot to the suspense of combat and realism of the game. I have never liked rolling for Hit Points and cannot recall doing so in the last 20+ years of playing. What my group has always done is give max HP for each level. This system is also used for all monsters and NPCs just to be fair. Decado
