AVG was okay... I think that the new version 8.0 is much slower and intrusive. But that is just my professional opinion... But yes... viruses could have been the cause of your problems so it wasn't a "bad" idea for him to do that and he did mention it.

That was my opinion... our party wasn't even up to the 1e levels and the DM used straight 3.5 stats. I did the Lizard Kings stats as written: lizard man, vampire, 9th level wizard. He comes out with 93hp... :uhoh:

I was a player in this under 3.5... our group of 2nd level PCs didn't really make a dent in the 3.5 converted creatures.

I like it and I'm currently running it for some 3.5 players.

Chopped off his own legs? :eek: I've never accidentally killed any other PC. ;) I was on the verge of a TPK DMing last week... they pulled it out in the end though.
