A young man dressed in studded black leather enters the tavern and looks around for a moment. Seeing a friend at a table, he takes a seat and orders a drink. "I think I can delay returning to Andora long enough for a drink with a friend, Mintrik," he says, then waves at Jack.

Loskrad smiles, touched by the simple gesture. "I thank you, Shadowlyn." The young man offers his assistance in helping to hoist her dog up, then follows up after her. after reaching the top of the rope ladder he steps aside and waits for Mintrik.

"I'm afraid all I've got is this oversized sword, Jack," Loskrad jokes. The young man walks towards the broken table in the corner and examines the mold. "What do you suppose we do now?"

Loskrad yells as one of the creatures strikes him. His blade feels slightly heavier in his hands now, but he is still able to move it around with ease. Eager for payback, he strikes back against the darker fungus. Temporary stats: Strength 15 (+2) Greatsword +4 2d6+3 19-20/x2

Loskrad moves to the front of the group to try to prevent the fungus and any other creatures from getting at the other members of the party. He will attack whatever comes within reach first.

Loskrad holds his sword and moves in front of the others, waiting silently for whatever happens next.

It’s not bludgeoning, Loskrad thinks to himself, but with me behind it, this sword should manage to take them down. “Alright, as long as those guys don’t notice us,” he says quietly, gesturing at the creatures in the big hall, “I’m going to go help Jack and Shadowlyn with whatever’s coming.”

Loskrad, having listened to Jack's description, just shakes his head and says to himself "this is all so wierd." He laughs softly and waits to see if anyone else has any idea what's going on.

Loskrad smiles and seems quite pleased with himself.

Loskrad prepares to defend his allies and strike the fungus, should it come close enough. (OOC) Greatsword: +5 to hit, 2d6+4 damage, critical 19-20 (/OOC)

Loskrad lifts his sword and moves towards the front of the group, "I can guess at what it wants from us."

Loskrad considers Mintrik's questions for a moment, "I suppose we'll all just have to be careful before taking actions against anything sentient. I have no way to tell beyond my own instincts, which I must admit are not all that good anyway. We could just try talking to whatever creatures we...

"Yes, it is possible," Loskrad smiles. "There are some things that we need to do first, while we're down here, but I'm sure you can be patient, seeing as you've been in these sewers for...how long have you been here?"

Loskrad remains watching and listening in silence.

Loskrad waits in the shadows and prepares to attack if the group is discovered.

"Absolutely," Loskrad says, lifting his sword.
