    Invisible flanking?

...and concealment allows you to make a Stealth check. Which is very much like being invisible. While I personally wouldn't allow a Warlock to run around "invisible" all the time, there's a fairly strong rules argument for exactly that.

Swordmages and half-orcs hit the streets!

That's still really good, unless it totally replaces armor. See, Dex/Int heavy characters in Hide are roughly equal to guys in Plate. If you max out Dex or Int as much as is possible, the light armor actually exceeds Plate anyways. Giving them a +4 bonus on top of that is just sick. By the way...

Party of 3: Striker or Controller?

    ...what are those, exactly?

I've made up my mind...for now.

I just wanted to play devil's advocate here. Well, I can't really say what went wrong with your printing. My books are perfect. As far as layout, yes, there are some things that are hard to find. You know what? There were things that were hard to find in 3e, too. And at least we have white...

    Encounter Powers as Daily Powers

I don't think he meant it like that. If I'm understanding correctly, he's suggesting that you can prepare an encounter power in a daily power's slot (to use wizard terms). Assuming you can still only use that power once per day, I don't see a problem. "Downgrading" a daily slot to an encounter...

Can you do a "diamond" shaped blast?

Well, due to the new distance metric, the world cares about the direction of the lines on the grid. Given that, you can't just turn something 45 degrees like you can in the real world- it changes the geometry!

    Sleep?

That's a great way to totally nerf the spell. If that's your intention, go for it. However, the single reason Sleep is a good spell and not a total pile of crap is that if you can hit and they fail their save, they are completely helpless for one or more rounds.

    The Star Pact Handicap

No. You either have one primary and a choice between two secondaries, or one secondary and a choice between two primaries. The warlock falls into the latter category. The problem with the Star Pact is that it takes away your choice: you need both primary stats, and your secondary. Any other...

    Astral Fire Style Feats

I'm seriously considering houseruling these to +1 die size (maybe scaling to +2 at epic). I still don't think they would be very good, but at least they wouldn't be laughable.

    Interesting use of Disease mechanics

Yeah, I'm not seeing the reason you can't heal broken limbs with ritual magic.

Ray of Frost and Cloud of Daggers; Red Headed Stepchildren of Wizard At-Wills?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say all the wizard's at-wills are useful. I'm not sure I can say the same about all the other classes, or even most of them. (Careful Strike, anyone?) Magic Missile: Range 20, and decent damage. Still might be the weakest, as it's "just" damage; you have...

    TWF vs. archery rangers

You'd have to, 'cause otherwise that stuff doesn't work. At all.

    Wizard Spells

Yeah, except that any halfway intelligent minion isn't going to run through the cloud of sharp glass and kill itself. Certainly not after the guy in front just killed himself that way. Cloud of Daggers seems bad. I could be wrong on this, but I don't think so. The other four wizard at-wills all...

    Wizard Spell per day?

    Agree.

    D&D 4E Point buy, 4e & you.

17 is 3, 18 is 4. (You could have guessed that.) What's not obvious is that five stats start at 10 instead of 8; the sixth is still 8. Then it's 22 points on top of that, plus racials. This actually gives you fairly good scores. Not amazingly so, but you'll probably have an 18 in your primary...

    Cleric With A Wisdom of 8 . . .

None of the other stats do. Also, PCs use the modifier a lot more than monsters (i.e. at all), so basing it off the monster stat block is silly. Plus the character sheet actually has both.

    Wizard and spellbooks

I'm not sure what the problem is. Yes, under my interpretation you can have two 1st level dailies and a single 15th level (if you wanted). But your 1st level "slot" has been upgraded to a 15th level slot, so if you want to prepare a 1st level spell, you have to waste one of your higher level...

    multiclass warlock question

That's a decent point. If the intention is to allow you to only gain the bonus damage once per encounter, it should simply say so.

    multiclass warlock question

Now who's being snarky? What I meant was that "use" could mean both "place" and "gain the benefit of". Which seems to be what WotC_Miko was trying to say. I have to agree with you here. There are a number of such ambiguities in what I've seen.

    Wizard and spellbooks

My interpretation would be that trading a wizard power for some other power means you lose that spell slot, and along with it two spells from your spellbook. Again, this follows from the idea that each slot is tied to two spellbook pages: you lose the slot, you lose the pages (the spells on...
