Two headed creatures in Myth, Legend, and D&D

The city where I live (Groningen) has a coat of arms which features a doubleheaded eagle. I'm not sure it has a specific name though. There may be other doubleheaded creatures in heraldry.

Gen Con Takes Stand For Inclusiveness

I'm not sure about the US, but marriage here is entirely separate from religion. There's no such thing as a christian marriage, jewish marriage or buddhist marriage. There is only marriage. If you want to hold a religious marriage ceremony, that's fine, but it's just a ceremony and in no way...

D&D 5E Salior Variant: Bad Reputation

Most people will not report you to the authorities... but word will spread. One day, that mushroom soup you are eating without planning to pay may contain a death cap mushroom. Peasants can find those quite easily...

    D&D 5E Scorching hot dice

current record: 5 20s in a row, followed by a 19. This was especially nice, because of a house rule (it was a 2nd edition game): crits had to be confirmed, but each 20 granted another x2 damage. 3rd lvl henchman threw a slingstone right through an ogre mage's head. Damage was multiplied by 32.

D&D 5E How do royalty die in D&D?

Don't rule out old age. The next person in line for the throne could be an incompetent nincompoop (you could name him Charles...), which would not be good for the kingdom. King kills his own son(or queen does, or he gets himself killed at sea, or eaten by a grue) after he had a child, child is...

D&D 5E Historical European Weapon Equivalents

Good list, I'm only missing the Kriegsmesser in the twohanded category (good job on including various forms of the Messer) edit: While I was out for lunch, I remembered another missing weapon: the hurlbat. A full metal throwing axe with more pointy bits.

D&D 3E/3.5 What spells got the greatest buff from 3e to 5e?

Command Not only is it no longer limited to a set list of commands, it can affect multiple targets when used at higher levels.

    D&D 5E 50/50 chance is 'easy'?

a DC of 10 means anyone, even untrained and with bad stats, can succeed on the task with a bit of work. Yeah, I think it's correct to call that easy.

D&D 5E what is your favourite spell in 5th edition so far?

Command for me too. 5e allows 1 word commands again, not from a fixed list. It may be bordering on overpowered.

    How to deal dexterity damage?

-Some diseases do dex damage: filth fever and the shakes. Can be caught in mundane ways (rats), or by casting contagion. -Poisoned weapons or poisonous creatures, possibly summoned. Centipedes come to mind, but there are probably more that do dex damage. creeping doom summons centipede swarms...

Camorr Map (Lies of Locke Lamora)

I don't have any information... but why not ask the man himself? He has an active interest in gaming, so I'm pretty sure he would give you the info.

Need hundreds of feathers to make arrows

wildshape into a bird and provide the feathers yourself? To be honest, I'd do this the traditional way: have the town's kids collect feathers and bring them to you. Shouldn't take them more than 2 or 3 days.

Stripped Spell [metamagic feat] - thoughts?

it seems a bit too powerful to me. A first level sorcerer can fill up his 0th lvl slots, gaining effectively 5 first lvl spells per day.

    What are your core races?

This cannot be stressed enough. As a DM I have invented entire civilizations to fit in a player character, if it's not an unbalanced race. Fun for all is what the game is all about, and allowing odd or weird choices is part of that.

    What are your core races?

human dwarf halfling gnome elf in that order, although gnome/halfling is pretty much equal, and close to dwarf. I don't like elves much. and hate all the elf subraces. please also note: no half-<stuff>, they're worse than dark-elves.

    Even MOAR Fire!

I don't think you can make your sword more firey by RAW...What can be done by RAW however is to add frost for an extra 1d6 cold damage. Applying the flame enchantment twice does not run into strange balance troubles. Talk to your DM, and there's a decent chance he'll allow it.

    Favorite Odd Weapons

I like slings of all kinds, and they're not that odd. There is 1 sling that isn't used very often in DnD: the staffsling. I really hope the staffsling gets stats in 5e so it gets the love it deserves.

Pathfinder 1E Starting skulls and shackles campaign.Char Build Suggestions?

just go for 2 weapon fighting anyway, and make sure you get quickdraw. A guy swinging towards you on a rope, cutlass in hand... dagger between the teeth... it just screams "YAR! I'm a PIRATE!"
