    Problem needs Advice

The DM we have is having his first time and isn't the one that slaughtered us all. Main point about all of this is that it seems he feels dependent on the player who maybe cheating. So if conflict happens and he leaves then we might not play at all. Example of how the rules are all loosey...

    Problem needs Advice

I ended up seeing the DM today and just explained that I don't want to be some tattle tail and rat out people I suspect are taking advantage of him. I said he should ask all the players including myself to explain their characters at least a little bit and to give all the proper rule books to...

    Problem needs Advice

Big thing is I hate seeming like some dude out to get other players and prove to them they're wrong or something. Just things happen and I sit there dumbfounded on how they are doing it. I don't want to waste a lot of time during gameplay discussing the rules especially if I don't have the...

    Problem needs Advice

I am playing in a campaign and within my party there are 2 others. One is as experiences or a little bit less experienced than I am with D&D but the other one at least by what he says has been very experienced with D&D. At times we have to argue rules such as how a feat works and it usually...

    Best Skills

I've seen in so many books new and interesting ways to preform skills especially in Complete Scoundrel. There are some skills I love to use like Tumble and others I've never really dealt with while playing. What would you consider to be the top ten or so best skills in D&D 3-3.5? Reasons why...

What to Expect at Higher Levels

So as a higher level melee character should I focus more on hitting or causing massive damage? If the Attack Bonuses are already stacked up high enough shouldn't I focus on dealing tons of damage? But then again the higher the bonus the more attacks I hit on a full attack. Feats like RGambit...

    D&D 3E/3.5 3.5 Whip feats?

RangerWickett could you give me details on the Whipsword? I've never heard of it before.

What to Expect at Higher Levels

My experience with D&D was that I invested a lot of money as a kid on 2e and all of a sudden 3e came out! I put all the money I had left into 3e but had no one to really play with. I had to get people that had never heard of d&d and we only played about two or three times until people stopped...

    Ring of Mighty Wallop

The people I play with never get around to keeping a campaign going so they never experienced later levels. So everyone thinks melee builds are god like and I always argue how Monks are TERRIBLE. So when I try and argue for Monks even if I'm not playing them I just get yelled at. I have tried...

    Ring of Mighty Wallop

I mainly figure not bringing Greater Mighty Wallop to my DM because I feel he will banish it all together. A ring of Mighty Wallop and Improved Natural Attack seem good enough. Any other items for optimization and suggestions of what to do instead of a ring of Mighty Wallop are appreciated.

    Offensive Metered Foot

In the course of one encounter I feel a few rounds away from an enemy you previously hit wouldn't be too long to forget the insight bonus. I mainly ask for cases that I hit other enemies within the round. I can as a free action choose other enemies so why not gain the bonuses. I am playing a...

    Ring of Mighty Wallop

Kitcik that would work for all day? Stream someone told me to look into it and used ring when describing what I should be looking for. Suggestions on doing up Mighty Wallop or Greater Mighty wallop are greatly appreciated. Any other ideas on how to increase a human monk's damage would be...

    Ring of Mighty Wallop

Can you calculate a normal Ring of Mighty Wallop for all day use?

    Offensive Metered Foot

I don't like only having 6 rounds. I am playing a TWF/Flurry of Blows Monk who also has a reach weapon. Being able to build up with AoO's and lessen the penalties of my later attacks for an entire encounter with many different enemies seems better to me. Then again maybe I'm missing something.

    Offensive Metered Foot

I think the argument of missing someone when not intending to hit them should be reconsidered. If I get into a fight in a bar I wouldn't find it too logical that everyone not involved could say I missed them each time I threw a punch.

    Offensive Metered Foot

That did cross my mind. 10 years since my character fought this monster but did hit 5 times with out missing on our last encounter! But I'm feeling the bonus will stay until the encounter is over.

    Ring of Mighty Wallop

I appreciate the insight. Anyone know other items to help a Human Monk do more damage such as size increases?

    Offensive Metered Foot

I'm glad you understood what I was asking. I was arguing it a bit because of the wording. I'm just going to have a d6 out and flip it up to 5 until I miss the opponent the bonus applies to.

    Offensive Metered Foot

"Choose an opponent as a Free Action. Each time you hit this opponent consecutively, you gain a cumulative +1 Insight bonus on attacks against that opponent (max +5). If you miss this opponent, the bonus is lost. If you hit this opponent again, the count restarts at +1. This feat only applies on...
