The party hacks away at the mound with multiple attacks. Shards of vegetation fly into the air and fall all around the campsite. Gallens' attack causes damage on multiple fronts. In addition to slicing off a thick vine, the power of the blow moves the creature over the fire. The mound shutters and groans in discomfort. However the size of the creature now poses a problem for the heroes. The once-lighted campsite now becomes shrouded in darkness. The sound of a dying campfire as if large amounts of water had been poured on it and the smell of smoke from smoldering vegetation fill the air. In the darkness the creature lashes out with multiple attacks on Prime. Apparently the darkness doesn't affect the creature's ability to locate its prey. One vine lashes out ripping into the construct's leg. The second vine attempts to grab Prime, but the fighter moves in the last second.

Never fear, for the dragon can see as well in the dark as... wait he can't see at all... Never fear for the dragon has developed a seventh sense called dragon sense, to better find out tasty foes! Charge! Sharpe shouts, and the dragon rushes over and rakes both claws into the "Daunton Horror".

OOC: Ahhhh...thx for the clarification Luinnar. As for the charge option: no. Assume that forest is DT. Can't charge in DT.

OOC: @Someone except Prime doesn't have to have both hands occupied as a warforged, he can attach his heavy shield to his arm and thus enabling the warforged to hold objects in his hand just he had wielded a light shield

OOC: Got it. I remember reading that in your CS. I'll make the correction. And now we know the limitation of he map feature. In updating the map I accidently made the darkness area engulf the creature and Drew. I was unable to undo the mistake. I put the mound back...but forgot Drew :( Sorry MetaVoid. Can you put him back where he was before his next attack? :)

Drew says something sharp in draconic before fumbling with something in the darkness. Moment later the darkness is lit by sharp glare of a sunrod.

Drew drops it and takes a pose with hands held high and the body back before lashing forward and hitting with both hands straight forward. His hands, fingers forward and toughened by years of training, dissapear into the beast for a moment and return into the light carrying rotten vegetation from the inside of the beast. The force of the impact disbalances it and his leg that follows up pushes it aside.
