Aliens vs Predator: The Survey

Predator, because Predator and Prey are excellent films and Predators is very good. Alien is very good and Aliens is excellent. The rest of the films in both franchises are trash.

I would say that Predator wins for me, but only for a hair width.

Alien and Aliens are slightly better than Predator 1&2, but other predator movies are on average better than other alien movies.
And both have horrible Alien 4 and The Predator.
But alien has Prometheus and Covenant, which both are bad.

as for Alien vs. Predator and Aliens vs. Predator... guess it's a wash as they both drag down both franchises equally.

Yeah the worst predator movies suck less and I enjoyed 1.5 of them.

Alien is dragged down a lot by Prometheus and Covenant. Whereas I never watched The Predator, so I can ignore it.

Recency bias has me give the nod to Prey. I really dug it.

Which is your favorite franchise, and why?

While I think that Alien and Aliens were higher quality movies, I like the concept of Predator much better and had more fun watching it.
