Anyone know a good SciFi game?

I liked Battlelords of the 23rd Century for hard sci-fi. It certainly had that Aliens vs. Predator/Starship Trooper feel. It's no longer in print, but you can usually find the source books cheap on Ebay. It has a fairly decent cult following.

I'd go with spycraft and just throw in some space ships, energy weapons and aliens.(steal them from star wars maybe)

The 2300AD suggestion was excellent as a campaign resource. You don't actually need to use the old GDW rules, you could use just about any ruleset you liked. But the Kafer War materials are great scifi us vs. them military campaign.
