For Kender? No. Far too quick and relatively painless. Flayed alive, boiled in oil, broken on the rack and drawn and quartered. For starters.

How does this work out? I'm trying to visualize this.

Without going into details, Halflings are Kender like in there rebellious youth, until they learn lifes leasons and retire to be more like Hobbits.

I chose 3.x mini-elves, but I like how my DM has his halflings. They are basically a cross between 3.x halflings and Birthright halflings. Spoiler follows:

In BR, halflings are still 3 feet tall sneaky types, but they are rumored to be refugees from some shadow dimension. Thus they are "half" not so much because of size but because half their essence is material and the other half is shadow.

False. That is, I never saw them get much respect.

I detest hobbity halfings. If anything, I perceive gnomes as more hobbity.

They're tricksy and false! Hates them I do! They cannot have my precious!
