Crying out in sudden pain Dandin chased after the goblin, not wanting to let him get away. He swung to the right to leave Angus room to get in if he wanted to join the chase and thrust. Watching the scimitar he waited for the right moment, hoping that he could trip the goblin up if he attempted to strike again.

Angis sighed. “I ‘ate it when they run,” he grumbled, running after the fleeing goblin. He caught up and swung twice, this time cutting the goblin down easily, with Dandin’s help.

After the last massive attack, Enseth did a quick system check. "Damage averted. All systems operative."
With his ghost snakes, the Goblin Shaman became the primary threat for the group thought Enseth. "Combat Priority One: Enemy Spellcaster. All other priorities rescinded."
Enseth's shoulder opened and multiple light darts flew to their target.

OOC: Action: Cast Magic Missile at level 2. First one on the Viper, the rest on the Shaman to break his concentration (3 checks).

Tommi reaches into his pocket and pulls out three more stones. "C'mon, baby" he says, to his sling, probably, as he blows on them and hooks one in the middle of his sling. A quick underhand shot launches one of them at the giant viper.

OOC: Bonus action: cast Magic Stone.
Attack: [roll0] to hit. If successful damage = [roll1]. I don't think he gets the benefit of sneak attack, since Enseth and Titus haven't stepped forward 5' this round, but I'm happy to be wrong, in which case please add [roll2] damage.
Move: advance 30' east, whatever the result (towards the shaman)

Legend
Dandin & Angis

Dandin caught the fleeing goblin and stabbed it in the leg with his rapier. The creature spun around and spat at him with a vicious sneer. It was about to lunge at him, when Angis arrived and burried his axe in its shoulder and then finished it by burying his other axe in its chest. He pulled both free as the goblin went limp.

Averiel & Tarthegal

The elves had been watching a dark hallway that led downward and was quiet. Averiel reported, "Nothing coming up this way."

She switched to elvish and said to her companion, "I'll keep an eye on it. See if you can help the other way."

Tarthegal nodded and turned and ran toward the bigger fight, leaping over the turned table and chairs.

Legend
Titus & Enseth vs Giant Viper1 & Gabulla the Shaman

Titus lunged in at the giant snake, and he made a good show of slashing away at it with his sword, but the serpent darted in so quickly that the young noblman could not step away in time. He was bit, lifted into the air, and thrown against a wall. He felt a powerful poison coursing through his body before he lost consciousness.

Enseth stepped forward to protect him as the serpent struck down to bite again at the limp body, and it clanged against the guardian's shield. Energy missiles fired out of the construct's shoulders and side-winded around the serpent, striking the spellcaster, who yelped and then returned fire with an even larger blob of acid than she had sent before. Her ghostly snakes flew about her, striking again and again at the resistant metal man.

Ganalan

The young elf saw that the ghostly snakes would almost certainly kill Titus if he did not intervene. Throwing caution to the wind, he rushed in. Taking several bites from the spectral snakes, he pulled the fallen swordsman down the hallway and away from the fray.

Tommi & Goblin6 & Goblin12

While all the rest was going on, sling-stones were flying back and forth down the hallway. Tommi's stone bounced off of the wall and scattered across the floor, sliding up to the well. One of the goblin's stones struck harmlessly off of Enseth's shoulder-plate, but the other's struck him in the face, cracking the glass of one of his eyes. He could still see out of it, but there was a star-shape obscuring his vision that would need to be replaced.

GM: Man, those Spirit Guardians will kill you if you fall unconscious in the area.

He couldn't resist the urge to cower away from that scimitar. It was still red with his blood and the pain was all too real in his mind. But then Angis was there and the goblin died with a gurgle. Dandin still wasn't sure what had possessed him to charge the greenskin in the first place. But he was still alive.

Unfortunately by the sounds from down the hall, he wasn't so sure about the rest of his companions. Dashing around the nearest bedframe he noticed Titus being drug away from a giant snake an a handful of smaller spectral ones. Enseth was looking pretty harassed himself, but Dandin was worried about Titus. The human had made way too much of a habit of biting off more than he could chew. Dandin Tooted off a small spell to wake his friend before hissing mockingly at the big snake. He watched for any opportunity to distract the enemies from their attacks in hope of saving his allies from more wounds.

OOC: Healing Word on Titus. [roll0]

Viscious Mockery on giant snake: DC 13 Wis or [roll1] Psychic and DA on next attack.

Reaction: Cutting Words
