M2: The Search for Goblin HQ

Charlarn will load and raise his light crossbow. "I don't think it's a zombie. They don't normally open doors. But it could be a goblin."

The door opens and a small goblin comes through. She is dressed in a dirty purple shawl and carries a tray of food. She starts as she sees the party assembled before her, drops the tray, screams, and turns to run. She is about 20 feet away from the closest members of the party. Behind her a narrow corridor runs south.

On seeing the goblin he draws his crossbow, but waits for direction from people closer to the front. He's wondering whether there are more goblins behind, or what lies down the corridor.

Rinaldo quickly step behind the goblin and try to slap her head with the flat of his blade, trying to take profit of her excitment to knock her down right on the spot.

OOC: Rinaldo too would have taken a cloak if Charlarn suggested it.

Tor runs towards her and tries to trip her with his chain.

"Yield! Yield and I promise you safety!"

That tray of food could be for a prisoner!

Tenebrynn wonders what all the commotion is from the back of the group. He stand up on his tip-toes but cant see around the big guys. He nudges Nurlan in front of him, "What's going on? I can't see."

Rinaldo and Tor manage to take down the little goblin. There seems to be no one behind her. The tray contained a butter knife, a chunck of cheese, a small loaf of bread, and a bottle of red wine, now broken and spilled on the floor. The goblin stares at the party in terror.

Ashnar takes a position to watch the corridor, to be able to warn of goblins approaching through it. On his way, he picks up the knife, just in case. "We should also try to cover the other doors."

Without looking at the goblin woman, he whispers, loud enough for the others to hear.
"You need not fear us, just be a bit cooperative. A pity about that wine. Who was it for?"
He tries to sound soft, friendly and soothing. (Diplomacy +6)

Peering around, between or over people, Tenebrynn is able to glimpse the small frightened Goblin and translates Ashnar's words into goblin in case she can't understand him.
