In the practice rooms....
Marcus
“Right,” Jason replied, looking at Marcus as if he had just grown a second head. Clearly, thinking and reflecting was not something he was used to doing.
Once Marcus’ headgear was in place and he had taken his position, the ref blew his whistle. Immediately, Jason circled left, keeping low to the ground with his hands in a guarded position. There was a look of intense concentration in his eyes.
Rinea
She wanders for a long time, with not a single hamster or zombie in sight. She does pass an abundance of flowers in a variety of shapes and colors. At last, the forest ended abruptly, giving way to a large area that seemed unnaturally devoid of life. The ground was composed of grey, tightly packed dirt. No plants grew here, and there were no sounds of wildlife to be heard. It was a strange contrast to the forest that she had just emerged from.
Jonn
“Great!” Nate said brightly. He waited for Jonn to get closer, before beginning to ascend the hill. He set a brutal pace, as the terrain steadily became more difficult. Meanwhile, the rumbling of the thunder grew louder and louder until the storm sounded as if it was directly overhead. It was then that the clouds opened up in a downpour that had both men soaked in a matter of seconds.
The ground became slippery with mud, and up ahead, Jonn saw Nate slip and fall hard onto the rocky ground.
