[MM2e] Salton City Needs Heroes! Episode 1: Premiere

A few minutes later, the rest of Salton Stars arrive at City Hall. Once inside the building they, immediately notice several things. First, there was a disproportionate number of elderly/senior citizens in the building. Second, for some reason unknown to them, the Ten Foot Pole was sitting outside of the main council chamber using a laptop. Near where he sat, there is a board with the day's council sessions listed.
On the board, one could notice that there was a general council session in progress. There was also a listing for the Senior Council, which appears to have been postponed.

As Keiko chastises Pole, Max squints a moment at the board after finding himself baffled by the senior contingent in the building. After reading the notice, he bites his lip.
"Guys, I think we may want to make Beatrice our next stop," Max says. "If they've postponed the meeting she chairs, that could mean she's on the run ... or worse."

The Pole flushes slightly as Keiko confronts him, having to loook down to meet her gaze, even from his seat.
"The laptop? It's nothing. Anyways, I kind of got into an arguement with the city council. Nothing major, I'm just guarding from out here is all. Nobody else has gone in.
What happened with the mayor's kids?"

OOC: Alright, a slight change of plan since no one responded to Dords "she's on the run" comment.

After filling the Ten Foot Pole in on the discoveries made at the Mayor's home, the Salton Stars quickly made their way to the small two-story home of Salton City's Senior (Citizen's) Council. When the group exited their vans, they immediately notice a stream of smoke flowing out of the window on the home's second story.

Sven's "knock" knocked the door off it's hinges. The smoke is definitely confined to the top levels of the home, however the whole building smells like a Amsterdam coffee-shop.
