This month I've read Pratchett's [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Snuff-Novel-Discworld-Novels/dp/0062011847/"]Snuff[/ame] (didn't really grip me, but not bad), [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Ready-Player-One-Ernest-Cline/dp/030788743X"]Ready Player One[/ame] (interesting, even if I'm not old enough to fully appreciate some of the early 80s nostalgia), [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Savage-Scars-Warhammer-40-000/dp/1844165655"]Savage Scars [/ame](40K novel, kind of meh) and [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Spellbound-Book-II-Grimnoir-Chronicles/dp/1451637756"]Spellbound[/ame] (alternate history urban fantasy from the 1930s with magical supers, not as good as the first, [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Hard-Magic-Book-Grimnoir-Chronicles/dp/1439134340"]Hard Magic[/ame], but still excellent).
Currently reading [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Children-Sky-Zones-Thought/dp/0312875622"]The Children of the Sky[/ame] by Vernor Vinge.
