[sblock=Background]
Eldest son of the Pruitt clan, Torban is a big deal in his village, something he knows all too well, as he believes he is a much bigger fish than he is. From fighting of deadly wolves at 6 years old, to hunting the legendary Black Stag, he is the closest the village has to a hero. There are even some songs about him. He considers himself to be above all of the rest of the village, deserving the best, and always talking about how the village isn’t enough, and he needs more action.
He’s Brave and strong, yes, but he is not really bright enough to use his gifts to their fullest. He’s a big deal in his village, sure, but he’s also the richest and handsomest eligible male for miles around.
When the rumors about the undead started up, he was gravely insulted by the barber’s sending a request for help from the sovereign. He thinks that he, with his local friends could take this on. He eventually got used to the idea of strangers coming in, but he is insistent he go on the mission to show these outsiders what the village can do.

Hmm...what to make, what to make?

A good question, the party has a lot of members and a lot of depth... we have 2 melee specialist, 3 full casters (maybe 4 if the drow are arcane brothers) , 1 rogue.... we have one nature specialist (the druid) and 1 cleric for the undead... and dear lord, so many elves! LOL

You can take whatever you want, but in my humble opinion... ranger or paladin. Ranger to back up the rogue when sneaking, back up the fighter and barbarian for fighting, back up the druid for "nature stuff" and ad a touch of healing. Paladin for backing up the cleric vs the undead, backing up the fighters again, and more healing.

Of course, with clever use of backgrounds some of those things can be filled in too...

I'll be honest - the choice of hermit as a background for the barbarian is sub-optimal from my part, but it's needed for the character concept :)

Why, you might say we have a condescension of elves. ;)
Shayuri Maybe a high elf or half-elf to complete the elfish shenanigans that are sure to follow when 2 drow and 2 wood elves are stuck in a dungeon together? And I've found bards to be a solid addition to large parties in 5e.

I'm not sure what to go for. Drow fighter could be nice, but warlock, particularly archfey, seems like a crazy fun idea to me. Charming little bugger, snaking his way into the surface world.

If I go fey, are there any in-world suggestions for an archfey patron, not good or evil, perhaps somewhat like Hirsam the Prince of Satyrs?

Either way my guy could be a brother or a friend (?) to Tglassy's wizard.

Alright, here's a starting point for the warlock version. (I copied a lot from an online generator, so formatting is not great; will come to that if I decide to use this concept.)

Hehe. 'Bavmorda' was a play on IG's character's name. Shan't be my character's name.

Hmm...what to make, what to make?

Kiraya, out of curiosity, how far/long do you see this running? Roughly.

One short adventure planned with the potential to continue after that if folks are interested. So...a few months-ish initially?

Yes, we are still accepting players - given the awesome response, however, I am probably going to close recruiting on Friday.

Regarding warlock fey patrons - Feel free to come up with something, within reason. :)

I'd like to join up then. I'll have something for a character up soon (by Saturday I would think if that works). Playing with a couple ideas that boil down to Monk or Paladin.
