[occ] OK waited as long as I could, I am going to assume the Major holds off as he is unsure. Everyone 'Readies' an action before the primitive looking man...[/occ]

The primitive man growls and raises his axe as he steps towards Lt. McDhol, he does not look friendly or non-hostile and the Major whisper "Fire" over your radio and quickly fires off some order to Lt. McDhol and Lt. West…
Torie uses Inspiration (Full-round action, Cha check (DC: 10). If successful, two allies who can listen and observe get +2 bonus to saving throws, attack rolls and damage rolls for 3 rounds)

Lt. Minchen fires off his silenced Glock at one of the other Neanderthal men, he is 70ft away from the group and they have partial concealment because of the trees…
Attack roll 18 +7 -2 (range) =22 a hit. Concealment chance to miss roll is 29%, hit. Damage 9 points of damage
…catching one of the creatures in the shoulder. It cries out in surprise and pain, leaving an ugly wound; yet it does not fall, instead turning towards the rest of the hidden squad.

Lt. McDhol, only 20ft from the primitive man that seem to be looking right at him, fires his HK PSG1 at point blank range into the creature…
Attack roll 19 +7 +1 (point blank) +1 (masterwork) =28 a hit, Damage is 12 +1 (point blank) =13 points of damage
…catching the creature square in the chest. It grunts with pain and staggers back 5ft, but it remains on its feet. And howls in rage!

Sergeant Johnson pumps off a blast with his Mossberg into another of the hostile men…
Attack roll 9 +5 +1 -2 (range) = 13 a hit. Damage is 15 points of damage!
…blasting it in the back, knocking it onto its face onto the trail hard. It groans a bit but seems to be down for the count!

Vasquez, farther back in the trees, first a short, almost silent burst, with his MP-5 into the back of one of the men…
Attack roll 11 +6 +1 -4 (burst) -2 (range) = 12 a hit (flat-footed). 20% Concealment change to miss 72% a hit. Damage is 11 points of damage (not sure what weapon Vasquez is specialized with??)
…but the creature turns at the last moment and is only partial hit. While there is blood the creature does not fall.

Lt. Coville snaps off some good pictures as the gunfire begins…

Christopher West also ducks down near Coville, holding his Berreta in both hands, but he is 70ft away and behind trees.

Lt. West also fires two quick rounds with his MP-5 into the back of the primitive man as he is stepping towards where Lt. McDhol is standing and raising one of those large axes in a very hostile way…
Attack roll 7 +8 +1 (masterwork) +2 (inspired) =18 a hit, 2nd attack roll natural 1 a miss. Damage is 8 points of damage
…catching the creature in the back. It staggers another step or two forward before falling onto the ground… it struggles to stand but his legs don't seem to obey its' mind and it falls back onto the ground.

the only creature that could react to this round is down, so Round 1, all the players get to react before them. There are four of them still standing up, two wounded.

Also special request, could you maybe put your NAME and RANK into the titles of each post? That would make it easier for me to remember who is who

Lt. Minchen

Minchen fire's off another shot at the one he wounded and put's the glock back in the holster.

Over the radio he say's calmly "I'd suggest concentrating fire on the wounded ones first, we want to get as many as possible down as quickly as possible"

Keia

I aim to misbehave
Lt. Simon Coville

Simon stopped with the pictures as the Major ordered the fire command. He dropped the camera into a vest pocket and readied his H&K MP5. If he had the opportunity and the shot, he would take it.

OOC: Drop Camera carefully (half), Draw MP5 (didn't know if it was on a sling or not - making it either a half or a free), if free fire once.

Ferrix

Explorer
Christopher Wolfe, Civilian

Wolfe takes a bead upon one of the wounded ones with his MP-5 and squeezes off a single shot.

OOC: he had his MP-5 out, not the Beretta

Lt. McDhol

Locke looks over at the primative that was coming for him. "That was too close," he mutters under his breath as he brings the closest wounded target into his sights and slowly squeezes off a shot.

…but the range is to far and his shot misses.

Lt. Minchen fires off another shot at the creature he wounded…

…but he also misses, and re-holsters the Glock.

Lt. McDhol shifts his aim to the wound creature Minchen was firing at and fires a quick shot…

…but there are to many trees and brush in his line of fire.

Lt. Coville puts up his camera, readies the MP-5 from its shoulder strap and squeeze off a quick shot…
Attack roll 2 +4 +1 (masterwork) -2 range =5 a miss
…but the range is to great.

Christopher West aims his MP-5 and fires at one of the two creatures…
Attack roll 7 +4 +1 (masterwork) -2 range = 10 a miss
…but the range is to far for him also.

Lt. West fires two rounds into one of the creatures…
Attack roll first attack 12 +8 +1 (mw) +2 (inspired) -2 (rapid shot) = 21 a hit; second attack 19 +8 +1 +2 -2 =28 a hit. Damage from the two attacks are 6 and 7 points of damage
…catching the creature in its left shoulder and knocking it back a step… yet the creature does not fall. Instead is lets out a growl of rage and hate…

Lifting it’s axe, the wounded Neanderthal man rushes Lt. West and swings at him with its axe…
Attack roll total 9 a miss
…but in it's mad rush it slipped on some of the snow and ice and the axe slams into the tree next to West head, chopping through it with little problem.

The other Neanderthal man (unwounded) rushes McDhol's position and attacks him also with its axe (the musket pistol still tucked into its belt)…
Attack roll total 14, a miss
…but it also misses the LT. instead killing a young tree next to him.

Actions this round? There are two Neanderthal men left, one wounded, one unwounded

Lt West

Should any of the neanderthals still stand when Lt West acts, he'll drop his gun (free), draw his sword (move-equivalent, or as part of move; no AoO), and attack the nearest foe still standing (+11 melee, 1d8+7 slashing, 19-20/x2).

(In case you missed my post in TtT, I'm away for most of today and the weekend.)
