[occ] OK waited as long as I could, I am going to assume the Major holds off as he is unsure. Everyone 'Readies' an action before the primitive looking man...[/occ]
The primitive man growls and raises his axe as he steps towards Lt. McDhol, he does not look friendly or non-hostile and the Major whisper "Fire" over your radio and quickly fires off some order to Lt. McDhol and Lt. West…
Torie uses Inspiration (Full-round action, Cha check (DC: 10). If successful, two allies who can listen and observe get +2 bonus to saving throws, attack rolls and damage rolls for 3 rounds)
Lt. Minchen fires off his silenced Glock at one of the other Neanderthal men, he is 70ft away from the group and they have partial concealment because of the trees…
Attack roll 18 +7 -2 (range) =22 a hit. Concealment chance to miss roll is 29%, hit. Damage 9 points of damage
…catching one of the creatures in the shoulder. It cries out in surprise and pain, leaving an ugly wound; yet it does not fall, instead turning towards the rest of the hidden squad.
Lt. McDhol, only 20ft from the primitive man that seem to be looking right at him, fires his HK PSG1 at point blank range into the creature…
Attack roll 19 +7 +1 (point blank) +1 (masterwork) =28 a hit, Damage is 12 +1 (point blank) =13 points of damage
…catching the creature square in the chest. It grunts with pain and staggers back 5ft, but it remains on its feet. And howls in rage!
Sergeant Johnson pumps off a blast with his Mossberg into another of the hostile men…
Attack roll 9 +5 +1 -2 (range) = 13 a hit. Damage is 15 points of damage!
…blasting it in the back, knocking it onto its face onto the trail hard. It groans a bit but seems to be down for the count!
Vasquez, farther back in the trees, first a short, almost silent burst, with his MP-5 into the back of one of the men…
Attack roll 11 +6 +1 -4 (burst) -2 (range) = 12 a hit (flat-footed). 20% Concealment change to miss 72% a hit. Damage is 11 points of damage (not sure what weapon Vasquez is specialized with??)
…but the creature turns at the last moment and is only partial hit. While there is blood the creature does not fall.
Lt. Coville snaps off some good pictures as the gunfire begins…
Christopher West also ducks down near Coville, holding his Berreta in both hands, but he is 70ft away and behind trees.
Lt. West also fires two quick rounds with his MP-5 into the back of the primitive man as he is stepping towards where Lt. McDhol is standing and raising one of those large axes in a very hostile way…
Attack roll 7 +8 +1 (masterwork) +2 (inspired) =18 a hit, 2nd attack roll natural 1 a miss. Damage is 8 points of damage
…catching the creature in the back. It staggers another step or two forward before falling onto the ground… it struggles to stand but his legs don't seem to obey its' mind and it falls back onto the ground.
the only creature that could react to this round is down, so Round 1, all the players get to react before them. There are four of them still standing up, two wounded.
Also special request, could you maybe put your NAME and RANK into the titles of each post? That would make it easier for me to remember who is who
