SX:2 The Antiques Roadshow (Keia judging)-Completed

With a triumphant yell at the felling of his first foe, Paladin presses the attack. Slicing at the injured minion, he hopes to cut it down and then attack the next nearest target.

 

[Bront]

Psyren will continue to try to disrupt him, crushing him with her telekenisis.

OOC: If he hasn't tried to break free of the graple, then he should be an auto hit, and either way have to concentrate potentialy for his powers if he actualy does

 

[Salix]

Avatar manages to hit his target once again. The shot seems to stagger the zombie. Paladin strikes at the injured revenant he had hurt before, hitting him cleanly. While the undead seems to nearly collapse, it somehow remains upright. Meanwhile, most of the remaining Revenants collapse on the knight, moving forward with a grim certainty. Their attack seems clumsy and uncoordinated. Three swing and miss, but one manages to latch onto his sword arm, trying to dislodge the weapon. As Paladin struggles to hold on, he feels a hefty blow to his midsection.

Two revenants remain nearest Relic, picking up stones and uselessly throwing them towards Psyren, who is out of their reach. Relic manages to keep incanting the spell, but shows signs of weakening beneath Psyren's crushing grip.

OOC: Used an hp for Paladin to overide the disarm attempt. 1 HP awarded to Psyren for use of GM fiat to keep the spell going.

Avatar manages to hit his target once again. The shot seems to stagger the zombie.

Avatar listened for Sergeant to come up with a better plan than blasting the Revanent into nothingness. Not hearing one, he continued to fire at the staggered zombie.

"Paladin, keeps going, you are doing a good job, clean teh way between the stairs and Relic. Psyren, you've almost have it, focus on him, no one can touch you except him for now." Sergeant turns to Avatar. "Take your whip. Trip him, slash him, strangle him, the important thing is to break his concentration. If we do so, it might break his spell, and whips ar as old as slavery... Paladin, you'll cover Avatar once he is at the top, you focus on the revenant, Avatar and Psyren on Relic."

Paladin does his best to keep hold of his weapon and strikes out again at the most injured revenant. "Die, thou curst abomination!"

Just as he was about to take a bead on the staggered Revanent, Avatar paused. Sergeant had been right the last time, and this thing wasn't going to be over until they dealt with Relic personally. He holstered his pistol and reached for his whip. Avatar's eyes tightned as he advanced on the chanting figure, ready to lash out as soon as he was within the whip's reach.

Sergeant Barks the orders urging the others on. As Avatar runs towards Relic he's caught by one of the Revenants. He elbows his way out of the grip, but is caught by another who tackles him. The zombie holds him down on the ground. The archeologist squirms, fighting for leverage. After several attempts he is able flip the Revenant over his head ala Captain Kirk. Paladin chops at the most wounded Revenant, dropping him easily. He swings at the next barely hitting him. His latest target and the other two Revenants dogpile the knight, attempting to take Excalibur from his hand. There hands grasp at him, filling him with a small sense of panic. With all his strength he throws his arms skyward, flinging the Zombies from him.

Meanwhile... Psyren continues her grip on the masked mage, pounding him into the ground. NOOO he screams. Time seems to stop for minutes, warping and returning to Relic in a wave. "You've ruined everything!", he yells at Psyren. With apparent effort he throws of her mental bonds, before flying into the air towards the psychic songbird.

OOC: Here's the roundup. Avatar spends 1 HP to break the grip, Paladin spends 1 hP to keep Excalibur, SGT spends 1 hP to inspire, =+1 HP to Psyren for Breaking the spell.
