Round Three

Solange's badger charges the shaman, getting in a single bite. However, that bite is enough to bring the goblin woman down to the ground, barely conscious. She holds up her arm, hoping to keep the badger at bay, screaming the whole while.

Meanwhile, Solange fires a bolt at the goblins, but as they are behind cover, the bolt buries itself into the wood of the overturned table.

Pendrake, unfortunately, is confused once more! Confusion Effect on Pendrake (1d100=30)

Pendrake is struck dumb, and begins to babble incoherently, speaking in a tongue of gibberish and blocking the stairs.

Realizing she's in deadly trouble, the woman tires to cast a spell on herself, avoiding any attacks from Aiken and the badger. She is successful (15), and is able cast a Curing Spell (9) curing spell upon herself. Many of the wounds from the badger heal up instantly, though she still remains prone on the ground.

Cepheus' shot slams into the wooden table harmlessly. The bolt still sends a shock of panic in the goblins, who scream out loudly and hurry their attempts to reload.

Both goblins again fire shots at Cepheus. "KILL HIM!"

Goblin Attacks on Cepheus (1d20+3=14, 1d6=4, 1d20+3=10, 1d6=6)

Neither shot hits, bouncing off the floor or the stone walls behind Ceph's head. Realizing they've missed (and knowing that they're doomed), one of the goblins drops his crossbow and runs to a nearby window. He looks down (a good 60 feet) and hesitates. The other goblin curses "COWARD!" and draws a curved blade - ready to charge into combat.

Aiken can't get an attack on the Shaman, unfortunately. He is not within range of the goblins, but can get close to them with a single move action (the one with the sword is only 20 feet away; the other is perhaps 40).

[sblock=translation]

trnslation from gibberish:

as the language of the gibberlings has never been translated, there is no reliable way to know any where near as to what the northerner is truely saying.

further more, since the nature of gibberlings is truely chaotic, there is no logic to follow to try and decipher what a translatin may be...even more so, some attempts at translating has been known to induce multiple forms of various kinds of insanity...so bewere. [/sblock]

OOC: Beautiful, Scott. Very Douglas Adams.

OF course, the Gibberish has ended, so Pendrake can act in Round four. Something tells me he's skewering the shaman. I think I'm psychic.

OOC: Wow! you are amazing! how did you know?!

ahem...

IC:

for round 4...

Recipe for scewered witch...first you attack:
Att: bless +1,str+3,bab+2,wpm focus+1...dam str+3 (1d20+7=18, 1d8+3=8)

the well practiced sword arm of the young man once again places a strike on the shaman, bringing an evil grin to the victum of her magicks.

OOC: can he move 5 feet somewhere to get out of the way of the stairs? if so, then that tis his move action.
