What about a French Toast Bake Casserole? curious I have tried out a Blueberry and Lemon Curd French Toast Bake, and a Peaches and Cream French Toast Bake. Both were very good.

That said there was a time when I thought bacon and maple syrup should never be on the same plate. How wrong I was.

I'm a heathen. Just the other day, at Cracker Barrel having breakfast for dinner. Pancakes, fried eggs, bacon. Every single thing gets maple syrup. Always. A godless heathen, like my father before me.

Am I a heathen, where if I eat a waffle/pancake/French Toast that's covered with so much stuff (lemon curd, fresh fruit, cream cheese, cinnamon streusel, etc.), do I really need to add the syrup? Some restaurants add so much stuff on top of their waffles, pancakes or French Toasts that you could find yourself wondering if the syrup is really necessary.
