I am playing a Fallen Aasimar that was captured by some evil faction (like drow - don't know yet). Touched by a god they felt the presence and decided to take advantage of it. They tortured and brainwashed him until his pure soul became a picture of misery.
Many years have passed and he can barely remember these times of terror. He's now a traveler - following vague visions from his dreams. Searching for anything that gives his life a sense.
My character is actually good. He's confused and sometimes falls back to his inner frenzy - that's when his dark powers pour forth. But he receives his visions from a good guide/spirit. It's like a permanent struggle between good and evil.
My question: What deity would be reasonable to pick. Could/should I even pick two gods?
