I think the Paizo people recently lost of their customer service people, so things have been a little behind over there. From what I've read on their forums though it sounds like a new person has started this (or maybe last) week, so hopefully the excellent customer service will be back again.

For me, I voted 5. I've had nothing but great experiences with Paizo and frankly their Pathfinder product is heads and shoulders above WotC offerings.

4.

And yes, that means I rated Paizo 4 and WoTC 3 even though I no longer have any dealings with Paizo and could be considered somewhat of a WoTC fanboi.

Paizo is great when it comes to fluff, but average at best with crunch. I don't blame them for sticking with the OGL, but that means I won't be doing much business with them in the future.

That said, their customer service is great and I wish them luck.

Point was, that if Paizo's customer service (which normally is awesome) hadn't been less than stellar in this case, there would be no possibility of an issue with my country's customs.

And why is that Paizo's fault?

I've had trades, marked as gifts, stopped by customs to otehr countries postal system and the folks had to suck up teh customs.

you werent expecting them to do what about it?

I voted a 4. I've used and loved their product in the past, but unfortunately they've decided to take their flagship line in a direction I can't support anymore. So a 5 for the past and a 1 for the future, but I like them too much to give a 3.

I rated them a 0 since they have failed to reach me as a consumer. I have never seen their product on a shelf, and didn't even know they produced Dungeon and Dragon until WOTC dumped them. I have heard of Pathfinder but other then the name I don't know a single thing about it. I never even knew they existed until about 6 months ago.

Rating them strictly as a company, I would have to give them a zero since they hardly even register on my radar.

I'm in the same boat, but I'm just not going to vote at all. No 4e= no sale.

I gave them a 5. I wanted to vote 6, but that felt to fanboyish to me.

Seriously, Paizo is one of the best companies out there right now. They're products are top-notch.

Well it was better number a few months ago. But after contacting them 4 times to get them to cancel my Pathfinder subscription I lost a lot of my good will.

You really are muddling your way through this - your trolls could use some effort to not be so blatantly, glaringly obvious.

It was better a few months ago? It took 4 times to get them to cancel your subscription?

You must be the one customer that Paizo has on their "persona non grata" list while WotC must have you on their "The CEO listens to him, so you'd better" list, huh?

They've changed dramatically over time.

1, maybe 2 during the polluting-Dungeon-with-Polyhedron era. Maybe as high as 5 during the later stages of the Dungeon/Dragon print run and early Pathfinder, though they definitely lose marks for the continual disastrous subscription problems that made every damn magazine arrive four months late if at all for us Australian types, and which they never did anything about.

At the moment - jury's out. I get the feeling they're trying to have their
cake and eat it too with the Pathfinder RPG - I'm not sure it's possible to keep 3.x compatibility but fix the serious underlying mathematical problems with the system as well. How they attack this problem will be the deciding factor imho...

I'm curious as to what you expect them to do about it? What shipping rate are you runnning at?
