Well, my stint with Civilization Revolutions is done. Got all the XBox achievements except for the ones on deity setting, which were just too much of an exercise in frustration to bother with. Wish they'd spread the achievements around a bit more.
Now it's a waiting game. Waiting for Too Human next week, which will probably be pretty good.
Then at the end of the end of month it's Mercenaries 2, which may well be the best co-op sandbox game ever.
Been burned on RPG's lately, but Infinite Undiscovery looks like it'll be worth a try, despite the stupid name.
After that, there's a little game you might have heard of called Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
And then comes October, god help XBox 360 gamers everywhere. Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, Fable 2, Saints Row 2, Dead Space, Fracture, and so many more.
Too many more, in fact. Game publishers are so damn dumb. Console gamers spent the majority of the year in a vast wasteland of no AAA titles. So many of them were paralyzed with terror at the thought of competing with GTA IV that they tried to give themselves months worth of breathing room. They all wound up hovering around October, and didn't want to push back any farther so that they could cash in on the holiday season. But if everybody's saturating the market during the holiday season does that really work?
So in summary: right now playing nothing, next week playing Too Human, in two months will be hoping for some awful injury so that I can live off of disability for a few months at least.
