I've been reading fantasy books and watching fantasy movies since I was 4.5 years old.
An associate of mine told me to contact one of his friends and it turned out she was a gamer and told me a bit about Dungeons & Dragons. I never heard of it before. I was a bit skeptical at first but I took in a Saturday at the local bookstore and sat down with the Player's Handbook while drinking my coffee.
I must say that I am quite impressed with the system and am looking forward to playing in my first game. I've already decided on playing a tiefling paladin. It should be fun for the character to try to overcome her dark history.
