I seem to have a hazy memory of reading somewhere that it wouldn't, but I'm not sure. Anyone know? If not, does anyone know if there are plans to do some sort of epic level book?

thx

Nope, just covers from 1-20. There are several discussions on the Paizo forums right now discussing what kind of books beyond the core players want. Paizo's plan is to do one monster manual a year plus 2-3 other books related to the core. They are reallly making an effort to keep the game balanced and going at a pace that the majority of players want. I'm really loving their approach to designing, at least for the core material and wanting player input.

Thanks for the response man. I agree with you, they do things very well when it comes to product development, and including the fans in the process. Do you have links to those discussions? About my only complaint re: Paizo is that I can't maneuver their messageboards well.

Here's the links to the the main threads concerning the next books:

Beyond the Core Rulebook
Future PfRPG Supplement: Levels!
What Does Epic Mean To You
Psionics: What Does Psionics Mean To You

One nice thing I like about Paizo's message boards, that we don't have here (at least that I've seen), is that once you view a thread if you are logged into your account it shows how many new posts are in a given thread after you visited it. That information is also tagged so you can click and go straight to the new thread material.

Yeah; the PF RPG focuses entirely on levels 1–20. There'll be a little bit in there that talks about what happens after 20th level, but not much. Post 20th level play, whatever it ends up being called in the PF RPG, is a project for a later day. Until then, the current 3.5 Epic level rules work well enough with the systsem—they'll need some adjustments and work, but then any GM who runs epic level play won't be a stranger to that (alas).

Thanks for the response James. I'm deep into reading the threads listed above. Interesting ideas are being thrown about over there.

Only problem is, the epic rules are 3.0, not 3.5 - no one's ever (officially) converted them.

Various 3.5 releases have included piecemeal epic material that updates and/or replaces material from the Epic Level Handbook. This 3.5 Epic material is included in the SRD.
