Semabin nods as he sheathes his other scimitar so as to not appear threatening, and says "Sounds like a good idea."
Eanos, human monk
Eanos looks around, realizing everyone is in agreement, but no one seems eager to speak.
"Seems I'm not alone in being used to others doing the talking," the monk says with a slight smile. Taking a deep breath, he starts for the gray dwarf.
"Ho there, master dwarf. My comrades and I are in search of a small party we've been sent to aid: an Elan, a human, and a katara. I don't suppose you've seen such a group?"
((OOC: Sorry. I had it in my head that we'd acted, but reading back realized we all just agreed to talk to the dwarf but no one was actually talking.

"Well, the party I spoke of seems to have gotten themselves in a bind, and we were sent in to retreive them, you see," Eanos replies. "So, have you seen any other ... 'surface dwellers'? Or do you know if there's someone who might be able to guide us down here?"
Not quite sure if "surface dwellers" is merely descriptive or derogotory, the monk sets his perceptive skills to trying to read the demeanor of their new contact.
[sblock=OOC]Eanos doesn't have much of anything for Know scores, but he does +12 for Sense Motive. Might as well give that a go, since random strangers aren't always especially truthful.[/sblock]

Pendrake seems perfectly content to let Eanos do the talking, but he is not going to let his guard down. He also places the name of 'Pedistal ' in his memory for any further refrences.
