Euphie grinned. "It's not that impressive, really. It's just one of the little tricks I learned from my mother."

[sblock=ooc]No need for a surge this time Elec, I already spent one of my surges to fill up my healing. That leaves me with 6/9 surges and I'd rather have that then you at 4/7. I'd rather snag one from someone that wasn't hurt or has plenty left when I need to refill again. *looks at Filo with a grin :p*[/sblock]

Shanairra saw the kiss and shuddered, looking away. As Stasi approached, she simply murmured... "That... was... just a tad creepy..." She then turned her attentions to pulling the healing energies of the feywild to herself, to recover some of her vitality.

[sblock=OOC/Actions]
Shanairra will spend a healing surge, gaining... 16 health? 10 is her value plus Euphie's buffs... does that get Shanairra mostly topped off? And obviously this rest will recover her encounter powers.[/sblock]

If Filo was bothered by Stasi's morbid display of affection he did not show it instead he nodded approvingly at Elec's tactics with the bandits. "You should really listen to the man Chaps. You really won't get a better deal and your alternatives seem rather bleak." Filo glances at Stasi and Cairn.

[sblock=ooc]Bluff check to appear stoic. (1d20+11=28) at Stasi's kiss.
Diplomacy (1d20+11=29) on Bandits

@elecgraystone Convincing Filo to willingly give up his lifeforce to charge Magic Items would take some doing, unless it was to heal others and he was out of his own healing.

[sblock=ooc]I think you misunderstand how an artificer works hero4hire. For recharging magic item dailies, I just recharge 1 per rest at no cost. To heal though I take healing surges during a rest and save them for combat. When I heal the person, the person healed doesn't mark off a surge. Instead I mark off one of the surges I took during the rest. If I don't get surges, I can't heal. And the best way to take surges is take them from the people that haven't been spenting them.

[sblock=elecgraystone]Definitely changed since I looked at the preview version. :)[/sblock]

May I suggest you roll skill checks such as this diplomacy for CaBaNa so the story flows faster? I don't think anyone would mind since it's faster that way.
[/sblock]

[sblock=Surges]
I have plenty and with each healing 20hp with your bonuses I don't think I'll spend them very fast. Feel free to ask. CaBaNa, you should conserve yours, having 4 means you can be in one more encouter and then what?

Cairn patiently observes the world around as he had for many milennia standing on the mountain. He notices groups interactions, but is also intrigued at strange nagging to move on. It seems his dettachment from Eberron caused his sense of time to accelerate and he was no more content just to sit and wait for things.

He guards his companions as he was made to do, but thoughts roll through his head, much faster then he was used to:
"We need to move. I want to FIND another fight, not just wait for it. But the group needs to finish their rituals of mating and supremacy. I thought mating only works for living? I'll ask Stasi later."

[sblock=OOC]

Elec-Squall didn't have to spend a surge during battle when Euphie healed him, he's at 6/7 currently, sorry for any confusion.

But he doesn't mind giving up energy, he's good at sacrifice.

[sblock=ooc and good info for all] I generally treat most things involving a roll the same way as I do in combat, "You have 48 hours before I auto you." This is not a punishment but merely a way to keep things moving, as I think most of you have experience in other PbP games.

Aside from the 48 hour delay the only thing I'll roll without asking is initiative and Opportunity Attacks.

I've seen people take offense at other assumed rolls and seen people change their mind aabout their actions, when they learned it depended on a skill check.

However, I'm very happy to speed things up by making rolls if you want me too. I'm keeping notes about such things on the adventure doc and Cairn I've noted to roll skill checks for you when I think you're actions dictate them.

Contradictory to the above statement I'm npw going to roll that diplomacy for Cabana since he's posted since I requested it and it's clear he missed/forgot my request.

In additon, I'm changing my fight rule. From now on, initiative in the encounter happens when you post. Obviously, you still only get one turn a round, and effects that last till end of next turn, that should effect you for a turn, do effect you for one turn and only one turn.[/sblock]

Elec-Squall approaches Euphie, he stands chest out, at attention. When she reaches up and snakes her fingers around his brooch, he leans forward ever-so-slightly, feeling the magic infusion. !! the electric fuzz that served as eye-brows shot straight up, as Elec-Squall's face became an embodiment of surprise. That's how you wear so little armor, I must have you aboard the airship! What services you could provide! Thank you, and hold that thought...

Wrangling the now subservient jackals into a more manageable position was far less injurious than forcing them to submit in the first place. Jackals, have you any say for your future? Local authorities, or a fresh start in a new place, I'd even offer a position as trap springer for this group. Lot's of potential for someone who was forced to raid! Where can I place you to better society, sustainably? I know several airships that need crews of men, well paying, and much less dangerous than ambushing passerby. Elec-Squall talks with both men as if they hadn't just about broke his leg. Polite, and even caring, he seems to be attempting a rehabilitation process.

He was so wrapped up in the prisoners, he hadn't notice the corpse-kiss, that Edward had been shaken by.

The jackals, for their part, seemed unimpressed. One grunted, and the just spat on the ground.

Diplomacy 3
Failure. This does not change their attitude towards you.

Something about the way the halfing's words roll of his tongue effects the two men. They seem to calm down and lower their defenses. They seem as if they are considering their options when. . .

[sblock=ooc]Bluff check to appear stoic. (1d20+11=28) at Stasi's kiss.
Diplomacy (1d20+11=29) on Bandits. Success but. . .
[/sblock]

Stasi looks at the prisoners...

"Come on, give us a kiss."

The prisoners suddenly hold their tongue and stand back to back. They don't quite seem to know what to make of the group. One shouts at Stasi in a skittish manner.

"Errrahhh"

[sblock="OOC"]
Intimidate (1d20+9=28)

Success. The enemy is intimidated and hostile (still surrendered mind you).
