Truth Seeker
Adventurer
Perditiion
Kahlan's life is threatened by sorceress Sister Nicci. In the meantime, Richard has to face his worst fear while he is trapped in the Valley of Perdition.
I thought it was a good episode overall, but the end fight just seemed off. The Mord Sith repels a magical attack against Kahlan, almost as if to show that she can, and then she wanders off before the next one. And the Sword of Truth protects Richard from Nicci's spell, yet it does nothing for Leo. I don't know, maybe I'm expecting too much from a show like this when I demand at least a little consistency in the writing.

I agree, although what I couldn't but thinking at the end was 'Did Richard lose all of his Magical Power?' In the books, if I remember correctly, he IS a Wizard and Seeker, but unless his power suddenly returned to him at the end, he's now only a Seeker and not a Wizard.
Don't see the problem here. It's a melee, not a chess match. What you ought to be doing and what you wind up doing are often not one and the same. A mord sith isn't immune to nake steel. Isn't it possible that people trying to stab you can divert your attention for an all-important second? And that the wizard would look for such an opening? As for Leo--maybe he didn't know he could do that? Maybe he just acted instinctively?I thought it was a good episode overall, but the end fight just seemed off.
