// Healing is the one thing that I can't do wrong. I think, most of the time, it would be better for me to heal and let Ingot use an attack than for Ingot to heal and for me to use Commander's Strike to give Ingot the attack. I'm waiting to see the fate of the brute at L10 before my move, but if Jax needs the heal this turn, he's definitely getting it.

Meepo checked himself once over before the combat started. He patted his armor, made sure the shield is tied properly to his arm, an readied to unfurl his whip. "Hey guys, wait for me."

Oblivious to the risk, he ran to his kobold ally and cracked the his whip loudly over his head. "Come on, what are you, a man or a monster. Let's show these guys who they picked a fight with. You," he shouted towards Ingot, "bloody your ax once more."

Meepo's words fill Jax with a rush of KOBOLD-FURY! Jax turns to his scale brother and says, "That's right! These softskins are nothing against us dragonkin."

He cranes his neck toward the crossbow bolt lodged in his shoulder, apparently just realizing that it is there. "I won't let a toothpick like this put me down!" Jax grasps the end of the bolt with his free hand and, without a moment's pause, yanks it out. He looks at the bloody tip of it for a moment.

"OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!"

Still howling in pain, he throws the bolt to the ground and stomps on it a few times.

Ingot responds unhesitatingly to Meepo's command, slaying the brute with a backhand swing. It freezes at the end of its follow-through, then slowly swivels its head back to regard the kobold. "Ah... I am puzzled. What ax? My weapon is called a 'fullblade'."

(Ingot is having a hard time figuring out what to make of Meepo. :))

[sblock=ooc] Holy cow guys! Nicely done against the brute! He didn't even last a full round! Okay, lemme go over where everyone is, and I'll try to do something with the haggle of guards. [/sblock]

Crag stomps over to the group of guards and strikes out with his longsword. He manages to bypass one of their defenses, but the blow is merely a grazing strike. Calling on Terra, Crag stomps on the ground, pelting the guards around him with bits of dirt and rock-- just enough to get their attention.

You can't mark after a charge as "After you resolve a charge attack, you can’t take any further actions this turn" and a free action is still an action unfortunately. [/sblock]
