"Oh, that is it! Eat dagger, dwarf!" Jax draws his black blade and scampers beneath Crag's legs to get closer to the wall. He throws the dagger at his target while still on the run. Because of his haste however, the dagger bounces harmlessly off the wall and returns to his hand.

And now he is in the open.

And now he is in the open, just where the dwarf wants him. The bolter takes aim and fires a powerful bolt that slams into Jax shoulder, spinning the kobold around. The guards and the large man move forward, weapons at the ready.

Jax sees a pair of bolts flying at him from the shadows of the ruins, but nobody can see their owner. Luckily, both bolts end up about 10' short of the kobold.

Ingot clanks forward, passing Jax as it charges the brute by the wall. Its fullblade swings in a brutal arc, dealing the brute a serious blow.

"Careful, Jax!" it calls back over its shoulder.

The dwarf on the wall is just watching Jax too closely, the kobold decides. The brute dead ahead is currently distracted by Ingot though, so Jax changes targets. He sprints toward the brute, taking advantage of Ingot's presence to mask his approach. He sidesteps the warforged at the last second and slams his dagger hard into the man.

Ever quick on his feet, the kobold scurries behind Ingot after the attack, again using his warforged companions as living shields.

The healing word might be prudent since we don't know where those gnomes are firing from. And we have Meepo around for healing as well, so we have a bit more resources to draw from than before.[/sblock]

Dorn's eyes narrow, and his hair flashes the color of flame (Daily Wild Soul - fire). He strides toward Jax, covering himself and the kobold in a protective shroud (Move to M5, use deep shroud (all squares within one of Dorn are heavily obscured)). A blast of lightning emerges from the obscuring darkness and strikes at the brute in front of Ingot before ricocheting into one of the guards. (Lightning Strike hits brute Ref 19 for 21 lightning damage with furious assault. Assuming that is a hit, guard 45 takes 4 lightning damage).
